i am not anti-EPL and that was not a superb final compared to the past 4-5 years.

Meh, personal opinion then. I thought it was the best game since Istanbul.

Did Chelsea players cry after Anelka missed the penalty?

By the way, I wonder why Terry was the last man to take the shot (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) it should have been Ballack or Lampard!

I liked the result of Athens, but it was a poor game. Paris before that was too one-sided with the Lehmann sending off, but Istanbul was a great game for the neutral, just a shame about the outcome!

Obviously athens has its place for all of us.

But purely football wise, this was a very entertaining final, it had some feeling in it.

Best final in a while besides probably the 'unnamed' one. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

Could be a massive chelsea exodus after all of this..

John Terry likes to "look after his players" so he basically just took the pressure on himself, which is what a captain should do really! He's a good penalty-taker generally, he just slipped and hit the piost, it happens.. to English players. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

I saw the second half and the last 15 minutes and I didn't see anything special, there was a lot of pressure after the sending off but no good football!

Mourinho never made it past Liverpool with Chelsea though.

Mourinho already won it. Plus Jose, more than anything, is a proven winner and motivator. Grant's not.

PS: Comparing both is already an insult for the portuguese.

I thought those two were the best on the ptich today. It's amazing how good Makelele still is, even in his old age. Played the whoel game today, all but the last 10 seconds anyway.

They were the best Chelsea players, Lampard was very bad (I didn't see the first though). For united the best were Vidic and Tevez (he got Drogba sent off, and Terry spit on him, I wonder if the uefa will do something about it or saw it at all!), C.Ronaldo and especially Ronney were absent, but one got to consider the fact that Ronney scarified himself for the team.

Oh and the ref was (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/puke.gif)

My uncle's a United fan and admitted the ref was terrible, gave everything Uniteds way. Worst players for me were Tevez and Essien. Ronaldo went passed Michael way too easily all the time, and I can't even remember seeing Tevez, other than his un-sporting way of giving the ball back to Chelsea and the sending off incident..

Terry spit on him? Never saw that myself, I'm sure the player he spit on would have reacted quite a bit if that were the case!
