A top striker to replace Pato? If you know someone who is willing to do so, please call Galliani (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Oh and there's Pippo & Paloschi for that, plus Kaka is a forward now (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

P.S. We'll probably sign RvN though he's the only option I can see, injury prone, quite old and has a good european stats ...

Sheva will never come to be benched and so is Boriello, someone else in mind?

I think we should aim for Vieri at least he won't take time to settle in (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/sleep.gif)

RvN has yet to win the European Cup. He's 31 - so he needs to win it soon, we aren't in it and we usually play with one striker. So this either hinders Pato's progress or RvN will be a bench player.

I'd be amazed if he came here.

I think [/hope] we will play with two strikers next season simply because Xmas tree only results in Europe. in the league it's a whole different story.

In post-match comments (to Sky, I think), Galliani said the following about the market campaign:

"Arriverà un grande difensore, un grande centrocampista e un grande attaccante. Nella rosa ci saranno 6-7 nuovi innesti"

[A great defender, a great midfielder, and a great striker will arrive. In the squad there will be 6-7 new players.]

If that happens, I think next season's Milan will be in good shape.

More b/s from him.

Grande difensore: good ol'Zambrotta.
Grande centrocampista: Flamini
Grande attacante: Ronaldinho

Sign a few Digaos or Bas, promote Darmians or Paloschis and it's done our transfer window.

I wouldn't mind if Paloschi were promoted, to be honest. He was a real breath of fresh air when he played.

3. Zambrotta
4. Zapata
5. Ronaldinho/Deco
6. Amauri/Striker

Hope those 6. At least.

Pardon me for asking, but is he really good or just another overhyped player?
Because i failed to find anything special about him. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

Amauri? He's good. But I personally don't think he's as good as he thinks he is. Yes, he is powerful in the air and is an important part of the Palermo team, but in Italy, Palermo's considered 'provincial' - ie, Not A Big Team. I'd let the zebras have him, to be honest.

(However, Milan DO need to buy a quality, experienced striker. By all means, keep Paloschi, but we need someone else. Just...not Amauri).

I don't like his offering himself to the highest bidder for club (one day it's 'I'm 99% a Juve player' and the next it's 'It's a dream to play with Kaka') or country (dangling himself both to Brazil and Italy). This is where the cheap prostitute comparisons come in.

So did I. IMO he belongs to 'nothing special' category. I'm just not convinced he can make a big difference in Milan. I might be wrong though.
