In post-match comments (to Sky, I think), Galliani said the following about the market campaign:
"Arriverà un grande difensore, un grande centrocampista e un grande attaccante. Nella rosa ci saranno 6-7 nuovi innesti"
[A great defender, a great midfielder, and a great striker will arrive. In the squad there will be 6-7 new players.]
If that happens, I think next season's Milan will be in good shape.

Grande centrocampista: Flamini Grande attacante: Ronaldinho Sign a few Digaos or Bas, promote Darmians or Paloschis and it's done our transfer window.

I wouldn't mind if Paloschi were promoted, to be honest. He was a real breath of fresh air when he played.

QUOTE (zdrossoneri @ May 19 2008, 01:54 AM) ^^ I hope Amauri is a CL hungry... we don't need someone like him imo. Pardon me for asking, but is he really good or just another overhyped player? Because i failed to find anything special about him. (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

Amauri? He's good. But I personally don't think he's as good as he thinks he is. Yes, he is powerful in the air and is an important part of the Palermo team, but in Italy, Palermo's considered 'provincial' - ie, Not A Big Team. I'd let the zebras have him, to be honest.
(However, Milan DO need to buy a quality, experienced striker. By all means, keep Paloschi, but we need someone else. Just...not Amauri).
I don't like his offering himself to the highest bidder for club (one day it's 'I'm 99% a Juve player' and the next it's 'It's a dream to play with Kaka') or country (dangling himself both to Brazil and Italy). This is where the cheap prostitute comparisons come in.
