I think Tevez is a lot better than Berbatov.

I for one don't even think it's an arguement. I'd rather have Adebayour than Tevez. He has the likes of Ronaldo, Giggs, Scholes, etc. in his midfield, yet his goal return is poor considering the amount of chances he has. Fits in more at a team like West ham in my opinion.

ControCampo quoted the Daily Mirror witch is saying that Eto'o is a done deal for la merda! Is that paper reliable? I hope it's not true Eto'o & Ibrahimovic would be ... (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/alien.gif)

Anyway, sound rubbish to me, because if Mourinho is going there with Drogba I can't see them both in the merda jersey (Eto'o & Drogba) (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/freak.gif)

Edit. Tevez is cr@p (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I tend to put the Daily Mirror into the 'unreliable tabloid' category of papers. So I wouldn't believe it.

I think Tevez is doing much more than just scoring goals. He's very useful in United's play. Also, if CR scored every chance he had he'd have scored more than 100 this season... that does not make him a bad player.

Anyway...

I'm not talking about scoring every chance, but Tevez misses too many for me!

Anyways, I do think we need another striker. But we'll find it very difficult to get a good one if we aren't willing to spend big money. Teams will know that Milan are unwilling to pay £30m and such, so if they want the same player as us, they'll just out bid us and get him!

QUOTE (m1ke @ May 12 2008, 02:32 PM)

I knew Braida rates him highly, and no wonder! Seems impressive for a 21 Year old. Frey V2 perhaps?

QUOTE (morgoth @ May 12 2008, 02:37 PM)
He's quite good (very agile) but nothing special in my opinion, could turn into a Frey though ...

Edit. The revelation of the season is l'OM's keeper Steve Mandanda, he won the best keeper in the league award.

I dont watch the French league so i will take your word on Lloris. He would be an excellent understudy though

Dailly Mirror is extremely unreliable

EDIT: On another note, we know Milan place large emphasis on looks, that in mind Lloris will be a done deal (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

EDIT 2: On a further note, this is exactly why i dont want Amauri - complete mercenary attitude

Amauri to Milan: Juve if you finish fifth

Carlo preferred 4-3-2-1 anyway. We dont need any striker.
We need another 6 DMFs (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/sleep.gif)

I like Amauri but I'm not going to cry if he goes to Giuve. Especially if they let go of Giovinco for him... that would be sweet.

There are better players than Amauri out there. I wanted him though cause you're not going to find a better quality-price analogy that in his case.

I'm glad Baldy was wrong (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) I hope he joins Juve.

For what it's worth, Amari is being compared to a cheap hooker in the Italian press for the way he keeps running between Milan and Juve, looking for more money. One of the articles is rather amusing.

2 things are working against Amauri and respect (other than running between Milan and Juve to up potential salary packages):

1. He plays for a team that, while good, is still considered provincial -- and even worse, it's from Sicily (which is considered REALLY provincial).
2. Palermo president Zamparini is an even bigger money whore than Amauri is, and he's a complete nutcase on top of it all. Not good for the player's rep at all (though, oddly, it doesn't seem to have affected Barzagli transfer negotiations just yet).

Did you guys even read what he said? He only said that CL will be an important factor in his decision. Only a moron would not consider this factor. But he also said nice things about Milan.

In any way, I want him to stay as far as possible from AC Milan.

That's his statement in Italian.

'My dream and my objective is to play in the Champions League. Milan is always a great team but for me the Champions Cup factor is fundamental.' (my translation)

I think he's clearly distancing himself from Milan with the statement, Max. It's a question of nuance, but 'fondmanetale' implies something VITALLY important, something key.

That said, I'm not crying over it either. Let him go to the Zebras.

let him go to the zebras?....more like please go to the zebras! besides the fact that he is overrated and actually not really that good in my opinion, but he doesnt really give a **** bout milan, to him its all about personal gain more money more exposure by playinh in the champions league, nothing about help milan, what he can contribute to the team nothing, very selfish and not welcome at milan. there are way more better playres then him that we could get and if not id rather not get anyone at all!
