I never said Pippo is the starter for the league. Even last season, he was kept on ice for the CL fixtures.

To be honest, we played like a team was the reason we won. Everyone chipped in with their best, including Favalli, Gattuso, Janku, Seedorf, Nesta, Kaladze (sorry dst (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) but he didn't make one of his trademark mistakes), Kalac, Inzaghi and Kaka, and even the fans. One man can't change the destiny of a match. Never has anyone, nor will.

Can we do without Pippo? No. Can we do with Kaka? Never. Each has its place in Milan. And no disrespect intended, Kaka can't do jack if the midfield doesn't provide him with those juicy through balls. Football is an easy game, after all. Every player who played yesterday - yes, including Brocchi - deserves credit for a good performance. We dominated the lower-case-m merda for most of the game.
