QUOTE (m1ke @ Apr 25 2008, 04:52 AM) Cheers for the update dude (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/king.gif) Interesting news - I've never been a massive fan of Flamini, but his performance against us impressed me. Bringing in Flamini and releasing Brocchi is a positive move in my opinion. I second that~! Brocchi is almost useless for us! I seriously consider his worth for Milan next to nothing! ...plus i consider Flamini to be a good player already (hes really well rounded) and still has alot of potential to imporve, because hes young and very determined!

(Porty, please correct me if I got this wrong)
My Portuguese is imperfect but A Bola (Portuguese football daily/website) is reporting that Benfica may be willing to hear offers for Luisao. I've said more than once that I think there're too many Brazilians at Milan as it is, but for Luisao, I'd make an exception. He's a good CB and is very good in the air.

I've skipped a few days of news and reports but the Lahm-transfer-talk moved me most. We should compete for him. IMO he's more the player we need then Zambrotta. He can do both sides just like him, but also scores and makes important runs upfront. But it seems he's on Barca's list..

QUOTE (kurtsimonw @ Apr 25 2008, 05:25 PM) On Flamini: I think the main reason we will not get him is not that we'll be playing in the UEFA Cup, but how often will he play? I'd assume we'll be seeing alot more of the 4-3-1-2 next season, but I still see a Gattuso - Pirlo - Seedorf midfield. So why would Flamini leave a Champions League team where he'll play regularly for a UEFA Cup team where he won't play as much? I just don't see the logic in it myself, unless he's getting huge wages from us. 1) Money 2) $$ 3) Carlo loves 4-3-2-1, especially if R10 comes 4) Ambro/Gattuso all 30+ and injury prone

He makes some silly mistakes (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) . btw, yes the only good thing about him is his aerial ability.

Note for fans of the Croatian NT:
* Luka Modric has signed for Spurs (good signing for Spurs, I think) * Lazio are looking to sign Dario Srna from Shakhtar Donestk

I'm not clear what the Spurs are planning and if they really are serious...or just like Manchester C. pumped up.. As for Srna...Lazio are smart. They would get 2 or 3 players in one. He's the perfect solution.
