Lastseason it worked so well because both Ambro and Rino were in great form during this time of the season thus freeing Pirlo to only do what he is supposed to do, this season them being in the form their in has not only lead to the formation not working but also to Pirlo being put under so much strain that at times he's seemed like he might keel over if he ran a few more steps in a game Brocchi was an attacking mid in his days at inter, but I personally don't see it on him at all. Emerson has that Brazilian quality to him that even though he is a defensive mid, he knows how to win the ball quickly and makes quick decisions of either moving the ball forward himself or distributing it quickly. |
