For what little it's worth, I found the interview/statements in the original. The translation into English is accurate. The commentary on the original article thinks that the powerful center forward Berlusconi mentions is Drogba.

I don't know. Drogba would be a very good signing, but still he'll be joining the 30s club soon. I'd have much rather invested in someone younger - a Benzama sort of player, considering the news is in the air about a certain Ukrainian returning. Then again, we have a certain player called Ronaldo in the ranks. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Drogba yes, but if it means curtains for a younger and proven striker, then no thank you, please drive through. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

Bringing Donadoni in as coach would be a big mistake. We deserve more. A coach with prestige, not a ex-player which is a bit overrated and a rookie coach with no real success. He needs 10 more years to reach the status as a possible Milan coach option..IMO

Drogba came to my mind too but I don't think he wants to play in the UEFA Cup when he only has a few good seasons left and has not won the CL...

If we do sign Ronaldinho I'm actually for the free transfer of Flamini if possible. He would fit in alongside Pirlo + Gattuso in our revamped x-mas tree with Kaka/R10 playing behind Pato. I hope he doesn't go to Juve, although Juve seems happy with Sissoko so I don't know why he would.

It seems that we definitly will have 5 attackers for next season :

WHo that Berlusconi said + Pato + Inzagi + Ronaldo + Shevchenko

for me it is optimal becuz the first 2 are our regulars , other 3 are the ones who want and will play nonregular . (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I would be very happy to see this formation for next year derby :

Ronaldinho + Kaka

Inter killer : Shevchenko + Pato (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Who are U Moratti ?

it will work only if the one who berlu mentioned is worldclass. IF its someone like boriello then we will most def suffer. If its someone like drogba or gomez/berbatov then we will have an indepth attacking force that can deal with injuries.

Berlu loooks like he is gonna be dishin out hardcore cash this summer. Its about time after the impressive revenue we made from the years at top flight.

Yes....but I would much rather it was the club dishing out the cash, rather than Berlusconi.

It's been 20 years for chrissakes, we should be running on our own steam now!

But yeah..if Silvio is feeling generous, go ahead old man! (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)
