Not exactly related, but Inter are considering a "cheeky" bid for Borriello, and they plan on getting him by handing full ownership of Aquafresca over to them

best thing to do is just ignore all this bs till galliani comes out and gives us the real and "galliani style" bs. Then we'll know if we should even look at these issues or not.

Two thoughts:
Ben Arfa. Can he play at LB? (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

Walcott. It seems that he's not enjoying life at Arsenal. I think he'd be a big hit in Serie A. But I doubt he'll leave England now.

From Goal.com:

Real Madrid To Make Gattuso Bid – Report
Real Madrid are set to make a significant offer to sign Milan midfielder Gennaro Gattuso, according to Tuttosport.

Gattuso has had a very disappointing season for the Rossoneri, and has looked a shadow of his former terrier-like self.

The Italian press yesterday reported that Milan were looking to begin a new era at the club by offloading the hardman.

This has alerted Real Madrid, who Tuttosport say are ready to make a €20m bid, a quite significant fee for someone who recently turned 30.

The Spanish-giants are looking for a new defensive dirty-man, as they are almost certain to sell Mahamadou Diarra in the summer, with the Malian likely to end up at Inter Milan.

There are also reports that former Milan midfielder Massimo Donati, now at Celtic, has told the Rossoneri that he would be willing to rejoin them.

The 27-year-old left San Siro for Glasgow last summer in a £3m deal, however there has been speculation that he is homesick and wants to return back to his home country.

I don't believe in this. I doubt Madrid will let go of Diarra. They just can't be that stupid! Then again, they've surprised me quite a few times in the past...

It'd be a bad move for Gattuso too. Their fans do not appreciate players of his kind... they only care about the "how it's done", not what is really done. And he wouldn't sell shirts either so... I doubt Real are interested in him...

And last but not least, he's going nowhere!! (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/cool.gif)

Agent: No Milan Interest In Mexes
The agent of Roma star Philippe Mexes has rubbished rumours that his client could be set for a summer move to Milan.

Despite a disappointing start to the current season, Mexes has been in stunning form over the past few months, and has established himself as one of the top defenders in Serie A.

Milan have been long-term admirers of the Frenchman, and the Italian press has recently reported that they could be set to make a summer transfer bid for his services.

“I deny everything,” Mexes' agent Olivier Jeanneaux told Laromasiamonoi.

“I don’t know anything about this move because Philippe and I have had no contact with Milan.

“The rumours are the usual voices about Philippe and they are heard every time Roma close on Inter. It’s possibly people trying to destabilise the Lupi.

“Philippe is happy and wants to stay at Roma. We received an offer from Liverpool during his first year at Liverpool when he was fourth choice even behind Sammy Kuffour, but he didn’t even want to leave then."

Jeanneaux went on to admit that Mexes was not at his best in the early part of the campaign, but says he is now back on top form.

“There was a period in this campaign when Philippe wasn’t brilliant and Matteo Ferrari and Juan were playing better than him, but that can happen in a season," he explained.

“The important thing is that he continues to play at a high level and has the chance to win the Scudetto and go to Euro 2008.”

Mexes is great but (even if rarely) he puts on some real bad displays... I'd love to see either Juan or him in Milan though.

Frey was really impressive against Inter. IF he's always like this, then he definitely qualifies to become Milan's new #1.

1. Ben Arfa..hmmh, certainly not. He's not suitable for Milan and can't play the LB. He doesn't have the qualities to do that job. But yes, the LB position is a real trouble. Not many good players/big names appear. These days, when Maldini's career is ending, Kaladze allways plays CB, Janku and Sergio are allways injured and Favalli isn't capable of putting two good appearances together I'd welcome even Chamot back..

2. Good idea. Course you know how it would start - first couple of matches we seen him score, then we see him got broken against guys like Matrix or Carrozzieri..

Coppola and Abbiati. But we should sell all three (Cop's, Chris and Story) and bring a decent one...not another Elefteropoulos

After all these years, I've never quite learned to spell Elefteropoulos. He must have given his parents quite a hard time when he was a kid, that's why they named him such, ha? By the same token, who are these Cop, Chris, and Story dudes, to be exact? (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

Cop = Coppola
Chris = Abbiati
Story = Storari

Can Milan lab clone one keeper from the three mentioned above? (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Actually, it should be..Eleftheropoulos? Wouldn't be that smth like Freimann in German, or Freeman in English? (Croatian would be...Slobodanovic)

Gotcha, thanks for the quick reply, Fillipo! (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/king.gif) I had a sinking feeling you meant Story = Dida, what with him being in all those news stories this season.

Actually... no. His name in English would be Freedick... 'poulos'=... (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) He is a big joke because of a big "exodus" he made in a CL game with Olympiacos! He kept on going and the wind kept on pushing the ball away from him until someone from the opposition headed it in! (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) Anyway... he's bad cause he can make some super saves but he can also concede the most ridiculous goals.
