The only surprise for me is Diaby starting. Maybe no Walcott either, he's played well recently.

Milan lineup as expected.

So it's Kaka, Pato and Inzaghi up front. Looks like Milan is going for the kill straightaway. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/devil.gif)

QUOTE (Darunia @ Mar 4 2008, 10:17 PM)
Official Lineups:

Kalac
Oddo Nesta Kaladze Maldini
Gattuso Pirlo Ambrosini
Kaka
Inzaghi Pato

Almunia
Sagna Senderos Gallas Clichy
Eboue Flamini Fabregas Diaby
Hleb
Adebayor
no surprises for either side.

They'll play with one striker... I knew Wenger wouldn't risk too much.

QUOTE (Porty @ Mar 4 2008, 09:20 PM)
Pato to score the winner.

Whenever you predicted he'd score a goal, he did! I hope you're saying it from the bottom of your heart this time as well (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/cool.gif)

I don't want to comment on Diaby cause it might come back to haunt me... I'll tell you what I think about him after the game! (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Guys, don't be too confident of qualification... it's 51 - 49.

Spot on, ZD. Nothing to be too over confident about, any team on its day has a chance to beat AC Milan, and this is the Champions League we're talking about. It will be a closely fought contest to the end.

PS. Changing topics, I just played the match on PES, and we beat Arsenal 3-1. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

because you need consistency in your mid, they play off each other way to much to mess with that formula...with maldini not playing much, it's hard to get that.

QUOTE
Preamble
Hello boys and girls, and welcome to Arsenal's last Champions League game of 2007-08. Yes, yes, I know that's a rather pessimistic outlook, but I've just seen the starting line-ups, and it looks like Arsène Wenger has decided to include Abou Diaby on the left wing. Winning in the San Siro - where Milan have won their last four in a row in the Champions League - looked a tall order for Arsenal on 11 men, so I'm going to say their chances of doing so with a massive gaping void where their left-winger should be are mighty slim indeed.

I might be posting some interesting color commentary from Guardian during the match. Once ever 10 minutes or so (or as something important happens). Pretty hilarious stuff. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

I'm not nervous for some reason. But it is 50-50.

FORZA MILAN!
