Well guys, Massimino (stadium) of Catania was never a happy place for Milan and always a difficult one (although we didn't played agains them in the years when we were the best - Sacchi era, Capello era and 3-4 years ago when we played best football with this squad (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) ). In fact last win in Catania for Milan was in 1964 when we won 1-0 with a goal from Altafini. From then we met Catania in Serie A 6 times (including tonight)... and guess what... all of the results were draws 1-1 (except one 0-0): 13 MAGGIO 2007: CATANIA- MILAN 1-1 (36' GIORNATA - STAGIONE 2006/2007) 12 FEBBRAIO 1984: CATANIA- MILAN 1-1 (19' GIORNATA - STAGIONE 1983/1984) 25 APRILE 1971: CATANIA- MILAN 0-0 (27' GIORNATA - STAGIONE 1970/1971) 16 GENNAIO 1976: CATANIA- MILAN 1-1 (17' GIORNATA - STAGIONE 1975/1976) 24 GENNAIO 1965: CATANIA- MILAN 1-1 (18' GIORNATA - STAGIONE 1964/1965) So you see that tonight result is no surprise especialy if you look in what form we are right now and the fact that we were playing without Nesta, Kaka, Pirlo, Kaladze and Jankulovski (especialy the first three). On the other hand there are 13 more rounds to go... Next is Lazio and this is a must win game at home, because we must take advantage of the game Juventus:Fiorentina (wors case IF we win and Fiora wins, we will still be 5th, but we will be 3 points behind Juve and 2 behind Fiorentina). FORZA MILAN!!!

QUOTE (Fillipo Simone @ Feb 27 2008, 04:18 PM) Exactly. Or better said, every decent team outside of Italy can beat them.. thats it. honestly i couldn't care less about inter cuz in the end all i care about is milan. now using this situation as a barometer. milan are barely good enough for 4th, and inter whether you think is the best team i italy or not is miles ahead of milan and teams outside italy can beat inter it goes to show how poor milan is... it's scary really. even if we get past arsenal. does suddenly mean were fine? one result and were cured? it's a culmination of results over the past 2 seasons that indicate how much we lack. anyways this isnt directed at you personally but what i wanted to say stems from what you said.

QUOTE (zdrossoneri @ Feb 27 2008, 11:57 PM) Pato will surpass Gila in number of league goals this season... mark my words. 8 games 5 goals. amazing for a player who's only 18 [got it people? fvcking 18!] and has debuted less than two months ago... Keep it up ducky! It's much more amazing than you describe it. He plays in a painfully slow and defensive-minded team and gets much less support than he should. Had he been with us 3 years earlier he would even have a chance to get close to the 30 goals mark Don Silvio talked about... QUOTE (pKillerMax @ Feb 27 2008, 11:57 PM) He could have requested for an attacking midfielder in January. I mean why put yourself in such a pickle... I'm not there, I don't know what's going on... But Carletto's lack of demanding new players has gotten us here. I can't believe that any coach in the world would be satisfied with this squad. It just can't be true. It's just the policy of the Milan board of the last two seasons that has led us here. I hope this will change in the summer.
