I can't see Gila scoring either (please prove me wrong (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) ), but he'll hold the ball up better for Kaka. I think this game will hinge on Kaka and Seedorf's performances.

His job at Milan has become really easy you know. We dont even expect him to score anymore, not even pass. Just hold the ball up & keep them defenders busy . Wich even that he cant. His match ratings speak for themselves.

I'm sorry ... (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) its just that i wanna see pato play ! I want to see an attacker who can contribute , pass , score , take a free kick , dribble ... I havent seen that since the englisch student left . And when Gila plays , it will have to make kaka & seedorf perform even better & harder. And at this stage of the tournament , every missed chance can be fatal . I'd love to see Pato play too - and I think that if he was 100% then he would start.

It's a shame, because we all expected so much from Gila when he joined. But let's face it, Kaka is going to be our main threat in this game and it makes sense to provide him with the space he needs to work his magic - something that Gila is better at doing than Inzaghi.

I'd take Sheva back in a heartbeat. I miss that feeling of knowing that however bad we're playing, all he needed was one chance to score. Now, we usually have no idea where our next goal is going to come from.

EDIT!: SHEVA VISITS TEAM
2/20/2008
LONDON - Last night, Andriy Shevchenko paid a visit to the Rossoneri's team. Embraces of great cordiality with all the former team-mates and inparticular with Ariedo Braida and Adriano Galliani.

For what it's worth, the English student apparently visited the team last night to wish them well. (I'm in the minority apparently, but I don't want him back.)

Controcampo is predicting the same lineup mentioned above (Kalac; Oddo Nesta Kaladze Maldini; Gattuso Pirlo Ambrosini; Kaka Seedorf; Gila). Pato will start on the bench.

Pippo would be my choice without a doubt. He scores when his goals are needed the most. Leaving every footballing theory and tactical considerations aside this guy is simply a phenomenon who knows how to score. And to me it's meaningless he hasn' scored in the Serie A for a year now. The CL is where he's best at.

Galliani To Abramovich: Drogba For Three Arsenal Tickets (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

The Rossoneri travel to the Emirates Stadium in North London in the first leg of what is arguably the tie of the round in the Champions League last 16.

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is set to be in the stands watching the game, after obtaining his tickets from Milan transfer guru Adriano Galliani.

"Roman called me because he wanted three tickets for the game tonight and wanted to see it with me,” said Galliani.

“I replied saying that I would get him the tickets but only in exchange for Drogba. Free, of course!"

Milan seem certain to sign a top-class centre forward in the summer, and Ivorian star Drogba is high up on their list of targets.

The 29-year-old has expressed his intention to leave Chelsea, and his two favoured destinations are Milan and Barcelona.

The Rossoneri have excellent relations with Chelsea, following the transfer of Andriy Shevchenko in 2006.

We have excellent relationships with them..?? (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Who do we have bad relationships with?? I think the Madrid issue is solved. And with Juve it's a common enemy, so now I think there's just the merda.

And I don't think the merda will ever transfer anyone to us again. Not after what we did with Seedorf and Pirlo. We even found a use for Favalli..sorry Favallinho.

How's Janku? I don't want that ****sucker by the name of Kaladze to enter the field in the rossoneri colors. He's not even good enough to be a San Siro ball-boy!

CL: Kalac set to start
Wednesday 20 February, 2008

Zeljko Kalac is likely to be passed fit to start between the posts for Milan at the Emirates Stadium tonight, but his finger is still raising concerns.

The Australian international has impressed while filling in for Nelson Dida in recent weeks, but he is a doubt for this evening’s Champions League last 16 battle after he dislocated the phalanx of one of his fingers.

With Dida not in the squad after his latest injury, which he sustained while sitting on the bench at the Stadio Tardini, Carlo Ancelotti feared he might have to turn to third-choice custodian Valerio Fiori.

Fiori has been at Milan since 1999, but he has been a perennial understudy and made just two appearances in eight years.

Kalac trained at the Emirates Stadium this morning under the watchful eye of goalkeeper Coach Villiam Vecchi and club doctor Pierre Meeserman.

After a tense low-intensity session, the man nicknamed ‘Spider’ returned to the dressing room with a smile on his face and will now probably start tonight’s crunch match.

Arsenal (probable): Lehmann; Sagna, Senderos, Gallas, Clichy; Ebouè, Flamini, Fabregas, Hleb; Adebayor, Eduardo

Milan (probable): Kalac; Bonera, Nesta, Kaladze, Maldini; Gattuso, Pirlo, Ambrosini, Kaka, Seedorf; Gilardino

I hope this is all a fake. Cause I fear of Kalac faking to be 100% ready.

Kaka admitted of doing so in the WC and even if the CL is not as important as the WC and is played every season, Kalac does not have many chances...

And why Bonera?? Where is Oddo?

Cesc expects ‘ultimate test’
Wednesday 20 February, 2008

Arsenal star Cesc Fabregas certainly isn’t underestimating Milan ahead of tonight's Champions League last 16 battle in London.

The world champions have a daunting task as they prepare to face the Premier League leaders, who are still smarting from last weekend’s FA Cup exit at the hands of Manchester United.

And despite Milan’s lowly position in Serie A, it doesn’t seem that their opponents are taking the Italian threat lightly.

“We didn’t play well against Manchester United, but we want to win things and against Milan you don’t need extra motivation,” Fabregas explained.

“We have to bounce back bigger and stronger than ever and this is probably the ultimate challenge.

“They are a team of experienced, strong and intelligent players and they can kill us in a minute, so we have to be at our best.

“I really rate Andrea Pirlo,” the Spaniard enthused. “He is a great player and such a good passer of the ball – he always sees the right pass.

“And then there’s Kaka. He had a great 2007 and we have to be careful of him, but they have so many other strengths and one of the best midfields in Europe.

“We have so much respect for them, but we want to prove that we can compete with them and get to the Final again.”

Arsenal (probable): Lehmann; Sagna, Senderos, Gallas, Clichy; Ebouè, Flamini, Fabregas, Hleb; Adebayor, Eduardo

Milan (probable): Kalac; Bonera, Nesta, Kaladze, Maldini; Gattuso, Pirlo, Ambrosini, Kaka, Seedorf; Gilardino
