QUOTE (Fillipo Simone @ Nov 19 2007, 12:58 PM) Oh no, I'm not a communist at all,...but, simply said, Napoleon is a excellent leader and dictator who tryed to conquer Europe (which is pretty normal for the strong nations in the 19th century) and more. Stalin is a mass-murderer who transformed Lenin's USSR into, using Reagans phrase, "Evil Empire"... So, of course you can compare personas from different times, but you allways have to keep the time-context in mind. Napoleon's policy was, for the 18/19 century regular and in a way acceptable. Stalin's policy in the 20th century,..not! I totally agree with everything you said there.

QUOTE (kurtsimonw @ Nov 20 2007, 05:31 PM) GaurdianNews on the England team. - Robinson was bad in training yesterday, he's been dropped. Carson has been given the nod to start in goal. -Ferdinand, Terry and Neville are all definetly out in defense. Richards, Campbell and Lescott look set to start. With Ashley Cole/Wayne Bridge at left back (I really don't know if Cole's injured or not!) So our starting back 4 could all be out. (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) -McLaren refuses to name the rest of his team, though. He is bad in every single game.

I honestly hope that England-Croatia is a good game tomorrow.
I'll look forward to seeing who McClaren fields and how they line up against a pretty darn good Croatia. (psst, Fester, watch the game and then BUY US SRNA).
I suspect Milan's Simic will be given a start in this one for Croatia.

QUOTE (Tennie @ Nov 20 2007, 09:53 PM) I suspect Milan's Simic will be given a start in this one for Croatia. I hope so too! But he's going to lose his place if he stays in Milan for much longer so I wouldn't be surprised if he left even as soon as January!

They are good, and we've got injuries (Gabbi's not playing (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/cry.gif) ) but even still, we should be able to beat anyone really, we have the players at that level! The France U21s have just equalised according to livescore.com a penalty from Gourcuff, I assume it's the same guy that plays for Milan! EDIT: I decided to put the Wales U21/France U21 game on, and it was fantastic. France took the lead, Wales then scored 2 in the space of a few minutes to re-take the lead.. The future looks bright for France, they're losing to the might Wales. (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) EDIT 2: Penalty for Wales, keeper should have been sent off as well. 4-2 Wales, a hat-trick for Evans. FT. (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
