What a performance (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/king.gif)   (but it was against a 3rd rate team, that wouldn't even kick it at the Coca Cola championship)

pfff you were saying how spurs are great and how arsenal dont have the "experience" on the team to do anything. now ur all pro arsenal cuz they're doing well (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

This was the CL team of the week .. We have one name that made it there (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Let's hope he keeps his place on their team of the week from now one (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/devilsmiley.gif)

--Walcott---Gilardino---Robinho

Clarence Seedorf (Milan): The ageless four times Champions League winner was at his lethal best once again, scoring twice with thundering volleys, and also helping set up Gilardino. If only he can produce it in Serie A over the weekend.

Alberto Gilardino (Milan): The much-maligned striker set up Milan's response to the weekend debacle with two clinical finishes. Was in the right places at the right times, and unlike in recent times, knew exactly where the back of the net was. Carlo Ancelotti will sleep easy again. Yeah, they will have to win vs Marseille away, and against Porto and Besiktas at home.

If they do....then it would be like a nitrous boost for them as regards EPL. Rafa would have no option but to go all out for it.

But I somehow get the feeling, they'll scrape through, maybe till the quarters.

They're too big a club, too many good players.

Though it'll probably come down to a super human Stevie G to drag them screaming and kicking to the next round.

It's Rafa's biggest match-winning strategy. When in doubt look to Stevie and Xabi.

hmm ... I don't know. Yesterday Liverpool lost against a 10 man team.

The other teams in the group might fancy their chances, given Liverpool have 1 point from 3 outings ... If they make it to the next round, that would mean Liverpool have to win their remaining 3 matches (i.e. all of them), who knows ... But I have this gut feeling that they wont make it and will inevitably concentrate on the league

If Liverpool don't make the semi finals, I'll be shocked. They'll make it through.

I'm blaming Rafa's rotation system. He gotta stop with that.

It is Stevie's inability to finish off one-on-ones that got them in this place...

You'll be shocked if they don't make the semis?? I think you're exaggerating, this is the CL we're talking about, anyone can be out at any time! I'd be surprised IF they made their way to the semis. I think no one on the red side of Liverpool is thinking of anything else but the EPL title this season... it's what they're going for and Rafa would sacrifice the CL for it I think...

They usually struggle in the group stage, look at what happened the last time the won the CL. They needed to beat Olympiacos by 2 goals to go through, with 5 minutes left it was 1-1, it's the Liverpool way to do things in the most dramatic way possible.

I do believe they'll make the semi finals again, based on previous years and how many of the big sides (Barca, Milan, Inter, Valencia, etc.) are all droppoing points, too. I expect QF from them, but I'm very sure they'll make the last 4.

Yup ... He needs to find the right XI, then experiment with his other players once he has a solid formation and team to play with, or else, he will end up just like last season, empty handed (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)
