We lack of Dida, Maldini and Ronaldo. That's the point. And it is still not an excuse,...it's just our reality. That we depend on people like Maldini who won against nature and still plays,...OMG.--- (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

One word describes todays game - embarrassing (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

Let's hope galliani has nightmares about this as it was him who said "we are fine as we are"

I don't know what is missing from this side really. I mean it was almost the same team that took the pitch in Athena. But there is something missing .. The goal we conceded was down to Bonera's poor marking really ..

It is clear that we face problems against these weaker teams as the defend with 8 men and then counter attack with 3 or 4 men ... I don't know, I just hope the team can get it together as they did last year and get back to climbing the table.

The goal we conceded was down to favalli not picking his player up.

dida? give me a break... kalac had no chance on the goal. if the CB are too stupid to just stand there and not mark guys that are in the 6 yard box then it's not dida's ability to organize them thats gonna make a diff.

That was our vendetta! Nothing to do with anything else, but to kill off the demon of Istanbul (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Please don't bring Athena in to this ... It was a special night, if not for u, for me personally.

the fullbacks and D mids pick up a player when theres 2-3 guys in the 6 yard and in the box... when theres ONE guy one of the CB should be marking him. but obviously favalli dint look good at all on the goal.

What is missing is passion and drive from some of the players who see that they are a goal down and still stroll around the field like we are 5-0 up (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

As for some of the subs who rarely get chances but still when they do get a chance they still don't give their 100% to the cause. That just p!sses me off to no end.

As for Catania's goal, first of all, we never should have allowed them that much space to counter, secondly I think it was more Cafu's fault, wasn't he the one that backed off the catania player who made the cross?

As for the whole weaker team thing, it's not a sure fire theory since so far we haven't faced any big teams, and to tell you the truth I'm not looking forward to it really, because with the way we're playing we will get beat pretty easily

Let's hope that this year ,somehow, would make our board understand that big changes are needed. And they cost money and if they wont to continue with their cheap, narrow minded policy then that's what they are gonna get.

hey dont worry it's still early in the season... i mean we're only what 7 pts off the leaders? or wait how can you mange do that early in the season (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) the fact of the matter is the only reason the top 4 arent further ahead of us is because they've already played games each other.
do we see a similar theme developing? it was around this time of the season that everyone started to see the scudetto fade away just like right now.

No, it wasn't Cafu .. It was Kakha, he backed off to cover the near post while Kalac got back up to cover his goal.

Milan against a bigger team is a different Milan IMO.

Dida right now won't be of any help really since he's probably playing worse then Kalac atm. Imo Ronaldo is the one we're missing the most our strikers haven't even gotten One single goal in the league! How sad is that??!!

Nope, he'll come out with an excuse that we were tired because we played a midweek game. Come on I_Rossoneri, you should know the drill by now (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

Of colurse Athens was as special for me too. I'm not devaluing that win, it was probably one of our most special wins because of who it was against.

BUT with that said, we all knew that once we won that cup Galliani wouldn't make the VERY NECCISARY changes he needed to make in the team. And surprise surprise that is what happened

This is start of a new era and we are in a very scary phase: "Realization"

Meaning after a string of results like this, the management will start to accept the situation as it is and leave denialville. There is a chance we won't finish top 4 this season, so I see a new era of younger, not so prolific Milan. Kind of like Juve this season. About at least 10 players in our squad need to be shown the door. And new blood must be injected. This is modern football, and we need to role with the punches until we get it. We won the CL? Great, let's build on that. We learned our lesson and this early into the season.

Yep, just like last season when we let Roma and Inter run us into the ground at home

^^^
What Max said.

I don't have any words about this match. The state of the team just makes me very, very sad. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)
