QUOTE HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO PATO! THE BRAZILIAN TURNS 18 9/2/2007 MILAN - Happy birthday to Alexandre Pato: the young Brazilian talent, born on 2 September 1989, turns 18 years old today. All the best wishes from Milan Channel's broadcasters, from AcMilan.com, and all the Rossoneri fans. Starting from tomorrow Pato will be available to play in Milan's friendlies. From 3 January 2008 onwards he will be able to take part in the official matches as well. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/happy.gif) PS Now mishale! Happy B-day!
So why can't he play in the Serie A now? He is 18 and a Milan player, what's the problem? |

Ha, that make sense, but see, I got this idea from FM07. Because you could buy a player at any time and he could play in the domestic league, but not Europe, until you register him. But I guess they are not awfully accurate.

Even in FM, if you buy buy a player after the close of a transfer window you must wait until the new window opens again and only then you can play him in the league. Here is the same just because of his age. It's like we only bought him today. It's the same in the game too. |

Well, in FM07, I can approach to buy a player without a club and but him off-transfer season and he could play in my next domestic match. I just recently bought Enke after he was left without a club and he played in my next match during the season. |

With players without a team it's different and you can add them whenever you want. It's like that in real life too. But Pato was bought. |
