Inter lost in chievo, Napoli lost in chievo, roma and juventus got one point each in chievo...MILAN won

Chievo games are hard and winning this, even though hardly, means Milan is giving out a warning that they're keeping the lead for the whole season....

LOL, you just made that up. It's three yellow cards for every suspension. Zlatan will be regularly on the pitch against Parma.

Could you or someone please clarify the rules....I first thought it was 5 yellow cards like in the rest of the big european leagues. You said 3 so i googled but couldn't find any kind of confirmation but at a forum someone stated this:

QUOTE
This is all according to FM, which (at least for the world's larger leagues) I take as fact.

In England, it's a one match suspension after 5 yellows, two matches after an additional 5, and three matches after every further group of 5. And for reds, it's one match for the first red, two matches for the second red, three matches for the third, and so on...

In both Germany and Spain, it's a one match suspension for every 5 yellows, and a one match suspension for every red.

Then there's Italy...here goes:
One match suspension after the first four yellows.
One match suspension after the next four yellows.
One match suspension after the next four yellows.
One match suspension after the next three yellows.
One match suspension after the next two yellows.
One match suspension for each additional yellow card.

And...a one match suspention for each red.

I wonder if anyone's ever made it past 17 yellows so that each yellow basically acts as a red...

Of course, reds can always result in additional match bans if the play was blatantly dangerous or the player was throwing punches or deliberate kicks at another player.

What worries me is their wingers against our FBs....

@ x-off, I'd like to see Seedorf in the CM position instead of one of the DMs. Rino, Flamini and VB all in the same midfield, now that's ugly...

I'd give Pato and Ibra another run out, they need to learn how to play together. Cassano playing behind them for me. Robinho has been playing non stop for weeks now, he could use a rest, while Cassano would be better at supporting them imo, even if you say otherwise (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Cassano can't play in CL

Allegri has to do something, or this match will soon slip out of our hands.

He needs to put in some magic (Cassano/Ibra) cuz they kinda put there head back now...pato is gone and robinho isn't doing much...maybe put in strasser as well....

QUOTE
Bayern Munich have confirmed that Milan have signed Mark Van Bommel.

Milan had initially ruled out a move for the Holland international partly on account of his age, but a series of injuries to their midfielders has brought about a rethink.

Adriano Galliani and Ariedo Braida apparently travelled to Munich yesterday to hold talks with Van Bommel who is being represented by Mino Raiola, the agent who brokered Zlatan Ibrahimovic's switch from Barcelona to Milan in the summer.

Van Bommel's contract in Germany was due to expire in six months' time and Bayern intend to pursue alternatives rather than extend the 33-year-old's existing deal.

"I leave Bayern with a heavy heart but with my head held high," he said.

Initial reports claim Van Bommel's contract is only until the end of this season and expires on June 30, 2011.

The veteran midfielder is the third new arrival at Milanello this winter after Antonio Cassano and Urby Emanuelson.

Fast notes

Pato: Nice come back, he's been showing alot of will but made some big mistakes loosing ball yesterday
Cassano: Such a gentle touch and such mind for the game, hope he stays consistant. 3 assists in 35 min played in Milan
Thiago Silva: I could pick him as the man of the match every single game, very crucial and also made a goal.
Strasser: Good game, dangerous and involved. Hopefully Allegri has less stress putting him in the start 11.
IBRA: By now, Ibra has been that force that might just give Milan, the triple. Hopefully his CL History isn't a curse but a coincidence. He gives his all and I don't know if people noticed how HE ran to the goal and picked up the ball after the goals for a fast start while everyone else ran around celebrating as if they had the game. Milan didn't have the lead ONCE during the game....

I'll keep the negative comments for you guys regarding Bonera, Abate, Seedorf etc.

But puh...After the game I was a victim of a bad headache, stomachache and was stressed out of mind....

1 point is acceptable but letting 4 balls crossing the own goal at HOME is NOT acceptable.

Tottenham.. easy!? they're no Barca but if you think it'll be easy, you're wrong.

QUOTE (Milan Are Brilliant @ Dec 17 2010, 10:14 PM) *
To say they're easy is just as naive as them saying we're easy. It will be a tough match no doubt, I don't fancy us at theirs but if we can do well in the 1st leg we should be set.

Saying that spurs are easy and underestimate them is what made Inter loose against them. Don't be surprised if we trip at the 1/8 finals....Tottenham is a good team when you underestimate them that's the way it is....we need to be at our best and fittest

Al Jazeera sport package containing 10 channels fully covering all of Seria A but also La Liga, CL, FA cup, international football and much much more....

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Al_Jazeera_Sports

Two points except the coverage is that you can choose if you want english or arabic commentators during the matches. Also Al Jazeera have done a good job hiring high profile football analysts including Alessandro Altobelli and Cesar Maldini for the Serie A and also profiles as Laudrup and Sacchi at some occasions....

best buy I've ever done

Just had to add this sense he was mentioned hahaha

Also I need to say that I miss the old days when signing a player after half the season wasn't an option....

People need to understand that the talent in the Milan squad isn't the problem but the will among them....THAT is what Allegri needs to push....

Ibra is probably his brother or something. Better not say anything stupid. Hopefully he doesn't know tae-kwon-do.

Not my brother at all. I have no idea why it says Malmö in my Profile, I AM from sweden but not from Malmö and that has nothing to do with what I wrote...

QUOTE (Bluesummers @ Dec 5 2010, 06:30 AM) *
the zlatan hate is obvious.

He played for Inter and Juve for one thing and he's arrogant. Milan fans have gotten used to world class players without egos on our team for years so now its a surprise to see one and they don't like it.

In the beginning of Zlatans career he was not appreciated in sweden because(Most say) he was from Rosengård(wich is a slum in a Swedes eyes) and that a cocky kid from the slum could be that good was not gonna happen. No genuine Swede would cheer for an immigrant from Rosengård but they didn't have any choice cuz he managed to deliver in the national team and at several times saved the team from not qualifying.
THAT arrogance you are talking about grew from all the hate that still is dividing football fans all over the world on whether Zlatan is a worldclass player or not....

Same **** was said when he moved to Barcelona but he showed there that he could be very humble but eventually people screwed him over....
I understand hating him as a person but he's €#€%" delivering on the field....

Hey, nice to have you on the forum, and I tend to agree with that since he was mentioning his time in Barca as well, so maybe Sacchi criticised him then as well... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

Yes he was advising barcelona not to buy zlatan and when Milan bought Zlatan he said it was a big mistake. He's been giving Zlatan a lot of undeserved bitchin...it is obvious Sacchi isn't very found of zlatan.

Off-topic guys

Regarding the interview with Sacchi....Clearly Ibra was very upset when he finally got the chance to talk straight to Sacchi he told him what he have saved up for a couple of years now.
