QUOTE (kurtsimonw @ Nov 12 2011, 12:45 PM) So?
I dont see how you are not getting this. He is asked a question, what do you expect him to say to it? Or do you think he should ignore it (and let the media decide on the most controversial outcome). But he didn't accpet that the offer exists even when it dit, that's what makes me confused! |

QUOTE (kurtsimonw @ Nov 12 2011, 01:31 PM) Isn't that what he's doing now? Denying speculation linking him with Milan? (IMG: style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) And yes, I do think he had to say what he did. What do you think he should have said then? Like I said above, there is only 3 options. You deny speculation, you confirm speculation or you say nothing at all. The last 2 will result in him pissing off Madrid and pissing off your employers is plain stupid. So his only option was to deny it, which he did. But the offer existed! |

My opinion.. QUOTE (acid911 @ Nov 11 2011, 09:01 AM) I respect you opinion man, but we don't know the inside story, right?! (IMG: style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) We don't know the figures, what we were offering him, because if we can afford to pay Ibra stratosophical amounts of moolah, we sure as anything could have to Kaka too. Particularly, if we offloaded both Pirlo and Seedorf. That's, what, 9 (or 18) million off the books. And let's keep money aside for a minute, how would it have looked if he came back with his tail between his legs. I know I wouldn't have liked it too much. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/happy.gif) Surely, not after this time, surely not after a couple of years, most of which was spent in the doctors clinic, as opposed to the pitch. Maybe later, when he as in his mid 30s (just for old times sake), not when he still has 2-3 years at the top most level. And finally, he's making a drop down the road, coming here, we have little CL ambitions, compared to Madrid. Thanks for that. So, I'll tell you Milan's bid for Kaka' (made in last summer): Milan's bid for Kaka' was this: Kaka's contract was this: Two years contract with 5 milion euros per season, with a possible extension for another season. Ofert for Real Madrid: A little bit more than 20 milion euros + bonus, another 5 milion euros for Real Madrid if Milan wins Champions League. Well, Kaka' as opposed with Ibra has spent six seasons with us and in my opinion he probably could make a paycut, nobody didn't expect he'll come back on this form again anyway. We'd keep him only for two years, just for old times' sake. We wouldn't win the CL with him again anyway. QUOTE (kurtsimonw @ Nov 11 2011, 09:21 AM) Because he has to. At the end of the day, you want to please the people who pay you, even if it's not true.
If he is asked "Are you thinking of re-joining Milan?" What do you expect him to say? If he ignores it, the media can make up any story they want. If he says yes then he's hardly going to please anyone involved with Madrid. He made the only sensible answer. Dude come on, what do you mean with 'he has to'? Every player that has already made history with us didn't say such a thing and even if there were speculations he had deny them. Of course, the media can make something like that, but in the past I've seen Kaka' reacting after that. QUOTE (Milan Are Brilliant @ Nov 11 2011, 03:11 PM) Yeah, tell that to Man City...
Madrid are a bigger club than us pure & simple and he made it evidently clear that that's where he wanted to go. Madrid still have that almost 'stand-alone' allure, even today, hence why Cristiano wanted out when he was at an already massive club too. QUOTE (X-Offender @ Nov 11 2011, 04:03 PM) If Kaká was after the money, he would have accepted City's offer prior to joining Madrid. Not to mention that he was already earning a huge amount at Milan. I think he and Ibra at Inter were the most paid footballers at the time. Truth be told, as Ash mentioned, Madrid is the dream club for most football players, especially for Brazilians. No, I was talking about last summer. |

QUOTE (acid911 @ Nov 11 2011, 09:35 AM) Exactly. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/sleep.gif) What do we expect him to say, that I'm crying a river for Milan?! (IMG: style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) That'll just send out the wrong vibes for his fans in Madrid. In my opinion, anyone would have said what Kaka' said, besides, we are getting paid bucketloads of money, the man's happy there, and his time spent in our colors is well remembered by many. I mean, I'd even understand it if he said that he is happier in Madrid than he was in Milan. Because let's face it, the glitz and glamor, ambitions and admirations are (quite) a bit higher where he is now, than when he was here. The only time a player deserves his name written in £, $, or € is when he wants to leave for money and money alone. And disrespecting his contract, time and fans at his previous club. Sheva and Kaka were not these. Has Sheva done something like this when he left us? His name deserves to be written whith such as symbols (£, $ or €) while he doesn't want to join the club where he became famous, because of pay cut. |

QUOTE (d'Arc.LP @ Aug 29 2010, 01:11 PM) Blackmaster you are going to far, but still thank god that is just your opinion and not Allegri's (IMG: style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) btw Ibra > Rooney ! Inzaghi has more luck at least. |

QUOTE (d'Arc.LP @ Aug 29 2010, 12:53 PM) (IMG: style_emoticons/default/dramaqueensmil.gif) You must be kidding. And after that he scored none for 5-6 games (IMG: style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) No, I'm not kidding, I'd put him even before a player like Rooney (of course if he'd be in Milan). Maybe he didn't play as much as he needed. |

QUOTE (d'Arc.LP @ Aug 29 2010, 10:36 AM) But if it takes 5 games for Inzaghi to score a goal, why would I like him to play in CHL Final ? Last year PIPPO scored 2 goals for 1 match. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) |

QUOTE (d'Arc.LP @ Aug 28 2010, 11:20 PM) Yeah like he's going to play in CHL. With Ibra and Borriello as CF's, there's not too much possibility to see Izaghi play this season. Maybe agains Auxerre. Damn, I know that but I'd put Inzaghi to play in Champion League before Ibra and Borriello. |

QUOTE (X-Offender @ Aug 28 2010, 09:44 PM) I think Pato will be even more deadly with Ibra at his side. That is, if he doesn't get injured every 2 weeks. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) Can you tell me the reason why would Pato be more deadly with Ibra? |
