I like that there are two sides of the argument. I love this actually.

But let's not get too bogged down in the past. Kaka is as much a Milan player now as Rui was a Viola player when he lifted those cups with us. Maybe he'll come back, like Leonardo and Albertini, maybe he won't. We'll see.

Things change...let's move on.

You know I have to say that with our new signings, Thiago Silva and Aly Cissokho, and the possibility of signing Edin Džeko or a similar forward as well, I am more and more forgetting about the past and becoming quite excited about the future. I think we could have success next year, I certainly can't wait for our first match to see how things go and how well our new players fit into the squad.

I hope that Ronaldinho can truly shine now that he will be our number one playmaker. With him playing every match he just might be able to return to his former glory! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/devilsmiley.gif)

QUOTE (Minami @ Jun 14 2009, 03:20 PM) *
I jst wanna ask

Would anyone mind/hated/whatever if Kaka returned next season/when we're not in an "economical crisis"?

He really showed that he cares about Milan, but I don't know if he would even want to return to Milan, but in case of Sheva most fans didn't want him to return to Milan...the case with Kaka is different, so how do you think?

For me, I wouldn't mind. I like him both as a player and a person and I would be happy if he returnd. But as I said it, I don't know if he is the type of player/person, who playes for a team, is sold by it's management and wants to return when he has the chance to.

I personally don't want to see him return. Kaka himself said last week that he hoped to extend his Real contract so he could end his career at Madrid. Fine. Let him. I don't want him back.

Look, everyone on this forum seems to love Kaka and not blame him for what has happened, but there is a large contingent of Rossoneri fans who are very angry with him, including myself. Most of my family and friends in Italy who are Milan fans are very angry at him.

Kaka always wavered in the past, saying he wanted to stay; he wanted to play in the EPL; he wanted to retire here; he wanted to move to Madrid one day; he wasn't interested in leaving; he would leave if the club ever changed its goals; he would stay forever and be captain; he is very happy to be at Madrid for the rest of his career.

A lot of us myself included don't buy his recent words that he felt he had no choice but to leave. Milan are 40 million euro in debt, or thereabouts? Premier league clubs are billions of euros in debt, Milan's debts aren't Kaka's concern, especially since we have a billionaire owner who could easily cover those deficits. Liverpool's ownership group are bleeding hundreds of millions of pounds, but you dont' see Steven Gerrard saying he wants to leave to help the club. Kaka's job was to worry about the football side of things, and on that he always wavered in whether he would stay for life or not. In the end, he opted for Madrid, a club he has long loved. I don't blame him for wanting to play for Madrid, I blame him for lying to Rossoneri fans. On Monday 1 June the line is "to the millions of Rossoneri fans, I am not leaving, case closed" and on Tuesday 8 June "i'm leaving because it's best for the club." He also admitted that the deal had been in place for some time. Bullocks, all of it.

Yes, the club wanted to sell him. Yes, Galliani and Berlusconi are incompetent and disinterested, in that order. But Kaka was alright with leaving, and is quite pleased to be at Madrid. Pato tells us just yesterday on Monday afternoon that Kaka is quite happy. I'm sorry, but my idea of a club idol isn't someone who is so alright with leaving the club, even joyful about it.

Sorry for my rant, but to answer your question in a shorter manner, no, I don't want him back. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/mad.gif)

Kaká has barely uttered three words of thanks to Milan and the fans. Diego Milito cried at his last game for Genoa and wrote a beautiful letter to the fans displaying his love and affection for them, and saying he wished to look every Genoa fan in the eyes, thank them, and hug them. Where is this kind of affection from Ricky??

Oh, and he professed he wanted to stay at Milan for the rest of his career and be captain, that he had eyes only for Milan. But today, gushing over his new contract with the evil empire (Real), he came out and said that his 6 year contract he would like to see extended to 8 so he could finished his career at Madrid. If he loved us so much wouldn't he wish to return to Milan to end his career here, the club that made him famous, the club he said he was forever loyal to?

I'm sorry, I'm not buying it.

Please don't hate me for criticizing Kaká (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) I know I'm new to this forum but have been a club loyalist for years.

Forza Milan! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/devilsmiley.gif)

I will be very disappointed if Pato turns out to be a mercenary like Kaká.

This is why I hate to rely on non-Italian players, so many of them lack a loyalty to an Italian club because they didn't necessarily grow up dreaming of playing for the Italian giants.

Why didn't Kaka come out over the weekend and say, "hey, I know that my transfer seems imminent, but you need to know that if I leave, it is because the club has sold me. I do not want to go anywhere." ???

I hate Berlusconi, but the man said over the weekend that he would try and convince Kaka to stay, while Kaka said nothing. I can't help but be bitter and even angry at Kaka, who never renounced the Real move the way he did the City move. He professed his undying loyalty, but stayed mysteriously quiet over the past week.

Somewhere between Kaka and Berlusconi/Galliani lies the truth. I think in the end, neither side was fully committed to Kaka staying. I am disheartened and disillusioned with both sides.

Sorry to douse the moment with ice water, but Rizzoli (Firenze native) is reffing the match. We can probably kiss this one goodbye.

Actually, Rizzoli is from the Mirandola in Emilia-Romagna, so he is mirandolese and not fiorentino (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

I just hope Milan get a fair chance to play their game because referees have cost us too much this season (from the Seedorf goal wrongly disallowed for handball, to the Adriano fiasco, to last week's foul on Zambrotta in the box (IMG:style_emoticons/default/mad.gif) )

Ciao everybody,

I've been following the forum for a while, but finally decided to join.

I just want to say I'm very glad that Inzaghi finally is back in the starting line up. I believe it is criminal that Ancelotti has given him such little playing time this year, even when Pato wasn't playing well!

Napoli 1 - 3 Milan
