Carlo Ancelotti Confirms He Will Leave Milan This Summer, But There Is No Chelsea Agreement

Carlo Ancelotti has announced he is leaving Milan this summer, but he has not found another club just yet...

Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti has finally confirmed that he will be leaving the club this summer after he mutually agreed to terminate his contract with them a year early.

The coach has been hounding by constant press speculation linking him with the Chelsea hot seat. But, before Chelsea fans get carried away, the Italian has revealed that he has not found another club yet.

"Its simply that I had an agreement with the club, and we decided to anticipate the times and agree to end my contract, and thus my time with Milan finishes a year before 2010," Ancelotti told Sky Sport Italia after the game.

"It finishes with happiness as we have reached our objective and I would like to thank the club and all the players as well as the president and all the staff and fans.

"I think my time has ended in the right way and I think it's the best for both parties.

"These eight years have been a beautiful adventure for me."

The coach has stressed that he has no agreement with other clubs including Chelsea.

"I cannot officialise my future because there is nothing official," added the coach. I have not made any agreement with any club, and thus there is nothing.

"London? There are no certainties."

Asked who he will take from Milan when he eventually does join a team, Ancelotti responded with Paolo Maldini.

"Would I take a player with me? There is one [Maldini], but I don't think I will be able to convince him." concluded the coach.

Maldini has retired from football, making his final appearance during today's 2-0 win over Fiorentina.

Real Madrid And Milan Reach Kaka Deal - Report

Kaka is all set to play his last match for AC Milan, with a move to the Bernabeu almost sealed...

Tonight's game against Fiorentina will be Kaka's last in a Milan shirt, as the club have reached an agreement with Real Madrid, according to reports.

According to AS, Real Madrid are poised to sign Kaka for €60 million.

The deal was agreed on May 16, but Milan's executive director Adriano Galliani requested that it not be made public until now, so that the Brazilian could concentrate on the end of the season for the Rossoneri, who are still not sure of an automatic Champions League spot.

It is believed that Kaka will sign a five year contract with wages of around €9,120,000 per year. In addition, 50% of his image rights will go to Real Madrid.

The transfer fee will go a long way towards helping Milan pay off their considerable debts.

Well it would be perfectly fine if those 20-25 minutes resulted in a goal or two since it would force the opposition to press harder for a goal and leave more space. Unfortunately right now were not decisive and miss chances we should put away.

The only optimism I have for this game is the trident of Sheva, Pato and Kaka'. Hopefully it will be enough.

Emphasis is always going to be placed on those who score/assist and thats why when we win alot of the praise is placed on Kaka', Dinho and Pato. Kaka' has been terrible this season, he loses the ball more and he struggles to beat his man. For me Gattuso has been our best player easily this season, personally I think he has been in career best form since Pirlo has been out.

As far as Emerson and Favalli goes they should have been shipped off (or shot) before the start of the season. It's all fine having them in the squad for the Coppa Italia games or some of the UEFA games but not as first team players. Were suppose to be the best club in the world and we have players as such who don't embody anything close to world class, let alone class. As Maldini goes, personally I think he should have left after Athens. As far as Pippo goes, like I've said the team has to be playing well and providing him with chances. If that doesn't happen he will offer literally nothing and thats why he should either play from the bench or have a supporting striker.

Back on topic, surely you can't say Pirlo is a hindrance based on what he's done over the last few seasons. He sets the tempo and rhythm for the team, however sometimes this may be a fraction too slow. But just like Kaka' he can be having a poor game and make the difference with one of his defense splitting passes or free kicks. It is true he is not great defensively and occasionally holds onto the ball a fraction too long but his vision and short/long passing game more than makes up for it most of the time. The problem right now is truly knowing how to utilize the squad in terms of tactics and formations, particularly because were very short at the defensive end. But the biggest problem of all is that Carlo is too stubborn to change his current tactics and formations and try something new and innovative. I mean really with the team we got we should be able to play some very attractive consistent football rather than the dull games we've produced all season with a few moments of brilliance here and there. As a result right now I don't think were actually relying on anyone since were playing that badly. Obviously with that many world class players were simply just relying on one or two moments of brilliance to get us through.

Thought I'd see if I can bring back some luck by creating this weekends match thread.

Anyway were at the San Siro again and for once its not the twilight game. Should be an interesting game considering Catania are only 5 points behind us. Obviously if we actually come out and play with the right formation, tactics, mentality and players, we will cruise to victory.

The last time we lost two games in a row, we got on a reasonable unbeaten streak. Also Inter are playing Lazio this weekend, so theres a fair chance we can catch up some ground.
