I know it's off subject but I have a brand new XL (with tags) long sleeve Milan jersey from the 06/07 season.

Would anyone be interested in purchasing this awesome jersey from me ? I'm asking $60.

Guys it looks like we might have signed Torres. Atletico is ready to let him go. I mean did anyone read the papers today.... it's easy to figure out. Our agents have made a tempting offer I assume.

But i hope Arsenal will not get in the way...

Ladies and Gentleman I give you "Massimo Oddo".

We have a new right back! Someone we can certainly count on. A player who has offensive skills as well, Oddo played very good from the start. He appreciates that jersey. It's like he's been waiting for years. Well he has...that's a fact. He was said to be a Milan fan and I buy it. He played from the heart.

I strongly believe Oddo has what it takes to be a starter in every game. He is not just another right back that will occasionally play alongside our usual defenders. He has a lot to offer. Oddo can dribble, cross, has good control, good stamina and he is powerful. He is tall too which is always a plus. I wish we had him in the beginning of the season. Great transfer !

cheers,
K

QUOTE (Rossoneri7 @ Jan 20 2007, 07:16 AM)
Exactly ..

I think Galliani has brought a better image for Milan than any other acting director of any club. The image that no club can hustle Milan, not even Madrid (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/devil.gif)

I like how you said that "no club can hustle Milan, not even Madrid" !

I think the alarm bells are ringing for us in the back and front. The management doesn't seem to be interested in any defenders at all.

The defenders who will be leaving/will need replacements next summer are as follows:

1) Costacurta
2) Cafu
3) Stam
4) Maldini

Yeah this is pretty much the whole defence. Maldini himself kept saying he is tired and his knees are bothering him and he can't play every game anymore. Costacurta is saying goodbye to his career as we all know... Cafu may quit, if not he will definitely need a good replacement as he can't play every game either. Stam may return to Holland as he wants to end his career in a Dutch club.

We need central defenders. Simic is not a central defender.

As far as the forwards go, Vieri is terrible. He is not a starter, he is not a good sub. Frankly I don't know what he is doin in our squad. He is burned-out. He'll prolly move to another club after the world cup anyways... So we're gonna need a 4th striker. Somebody young and someone who can dribble the ball I hope...

Our midfield is very solid though, I'm very happy with that. Jankulovski is a great transfer. All of our midfielders are young and highly skilled. Can't complain....

We don't need big name signings just players who can take over the defence and partner Nesta. And a promising striker. Someone who hasn't proved himself in a big club yet. I'm very impressed by D'Agostino. He plays for Messina. Watch the goal he scored against Lecce. This guy is pure class. Another player is Suazo who plays for Cagliari. These 2 would be good 4th strikers for Milan. Hell they can challenge both Inzaghi and the overrated Gilardino...
