He's too good a player to pass up, if we have a chance at him we should sign him. It isn't our money so why should we worry about salaries and transfer fees? As long as the team improves then I'm happy.

Great post, could be a great find, boca is tearing it up and he's one of their best players. Shares my birthday as well, hopefully we get him (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/devilsmiley.gif)

I don't condone what he did to us fans with all the lies and deceit but somehow as one of my favourite players I cannot help but to root for him. I do not want Chelsea to do well as a team but that does not mean that I won't cheer for Sheva. Look the lies hurt but he made his choice, he decided to leave and we all have to live with that decision. I hope if not this year that next year he finds his place and leads the EPL in scoring because he is a classy guy and one of the best strikers in the world and there is no denying that.

Ahhh you misunderstood me I used the word class as in skill. Yes we have classy players but many of them are over the hill. Class was used as a substitute for skill, as in our team does not have as much class as Barca, not as much skill in terms of players.

^^^As do I, he's already a good player but he has the ability to become a great player for his team and the Italian squad

At least our CL group is the easiest and maybe we can pull off a few wins in the knockout stages but on paper we do not have the class to compete with Chelsea, Barca and some of the other powers. As for the league I actually do expect us to win it. Perennial underachievers Inter don't look to be on form and even if they are they cannot boast our midfield. Hopefully another scudetto this year and in the next couple of years another star above the crest.

Gourcuff is an awesome find, great talent, poise and a wonderful touch on the ball. Gila should start for sure over Oliveira he's of a higher quality and if he works hard he can have a breakthrough season for Milan.

I like Tevez no doubt a great talent but let's see how he does in the EPL, there are many good players who have had great years in other leagues but have floundered when going to the EPL. I believe that Tevez will have a good season and only get better but it will be very interesting to watch his development.

Oliveira was ok from the games I watched a couple of years ago but he's not even close to Shevchenko, both names should not be mentioned in the same sentence, sadly he is an upgrade over most of our strikers, milan's situation up front is just pitiful.

Cicinho is a very good player and would instantly be an upgrade over any of our wingbacks. He's often been compared to Roberto Carlos because of his ability to attack and none of you would pass over a Roberto Carlos clone who isn't even in his prime yet would you? Cicinho would at least bring some more credit to our defense and would show that the management is actually doing something. After seeing what we have done this off-season or haven't done in fact nobody should complain if Cicinho comes.

Striker Ricardo Oliveira has agreed terms with AC Milan after the Serie A giants ditched their attempts to lure Ronaldo to the San Siro. The 26-year-old will undergo a medical before signing a deal that will see him move from la Liga side Real Betis on a four year deal.

"I am happy to have been signed by such an important club as Milan," Oliveira said on his arrival in Milan on Friday.

The Italian giants have been searching for a replacement for Andriy Shevchenko ever since the Ukrainian left for the Premiership, and the Brazilian fits the bill for coach Carlo Ancelotti.

Oliveira comes to Serie A with form - he finished as la Liga's top scorer during the 2004/05 season. A cruciate ligament injury in November last year set him back, but he was loaned out to Sao Paulo to help his recovery, where he helped them to the final of the Copa Libertadores.

Milan were trying to sign Oliveira's compatriot Ronaldo from Real Madrid, but ended their pursuit of the record World Cup goal-getter on Friday, deeming his price tag excessive.
