Meh, even older and more popular communities have waned drastically over these past 3 or so years. I mean there's only so much a fan can take before his/her interest starts to go down the toilet. Even more so this season after we were made big promises, had a big budget in the summer that we saw wasted away on average players, were given a coach who was a lot less than we expected considering the supposed ambitions of the management and to now see us struggling once again in a replica of seasons past is just disheartening to even the biggest and most passionate of fans.

At least we're taking advantage of these occasions, last season we would have simply lowered our performance to match theirs. And managed to lose or draw.

I'm not saying we're great but if we can win the matches that we should be winning, I see no reason as to why we shouldn't at the very least make the EL next season


Agreed, don't know about top 3 but at least we should make top 5 if we win the games we should. Losing points against Torino, Genoa and Atalanta for me has been far more disappointing than the narrow losses against Inter, Juve and Fiorentina

Also, it looks like we're playing a 4-4-2, not a 4-3-3 and it's working well atm. The fluidity of Niang and Bacca is really creating a lot of problems and Cerci and Bona are supporting them quite well.

I have to admit I was against a 4-4-2 when x-off was suggesting it, but so far this season it's been the only formation that has really allowed us to dominate games.

I'm not sure either which is why I say that we'd have a shot. At this point I see us as 5-6th best team that might be able to slip into 3rd if we take care of business against the weak teams of the league and draw against some of the top ones.
