I just came across this link in acmilan.com stating that Milan have named 23 players in their A List for the Champions League group stage while Pato and Strasser are on the B List. I'm not relly sure what that means, had never heard of A list or B list for team rosters and if so, why would Pato be in the B list, I can understand Strasser, but Pato?

It's nothing serious man. Pato will have the right to play just like the players in List A.

Because Pato is young enough to be on the B list. Players on both lists can play CL matches. There is a limit of amount of players that can go on the A list, that's why Milan put Pato and Strasser on the B list (notice they are younger than those on list A?).
