About number one - I think they meant is that Maldini is too great to be ranked. He's automatically tops every Milan list. The rank is for rest, more 'mortal' players.

If we consider only the last decade, I don't think Maldini should be #1. He hasn't been as important and decisive as some other players. Same about Costacurta, why is he even there?

I try to make one myself, but it's kinda tough to do. I am thinking about Nesta, Maldini, Pirlo, Kaká and Shevchenko but in what order?
Just 1 season longer, and he started with us in 1999, and that is not 2000-2010.

But he came back in 2008!

Anyway, my top 5 would be Shevchenko, Kaka, Pirlo, Nesta, Inzaghi.
