So, today we will see the final 4 matches of the 1st - group round. I'm interested to see your selection of worst team so far. Here is my squad:
--------------------------Chaouchi-----------------------------------
-----Evra-----Kjær(Vyntra)---Cannavaro(Agger)----Taiwo-------
--Pak Nam Chol---Hamsik---Gourcuff---Marchisio(Jørgensen)--
-------------------Žigić(Anelka)-----Gilardino----------------------

Taiwo plays on the left. And Hamsik? He was pretty good today.

My mistake
As for Hamsik...I expected so much more. He's been a shadow so far.

You could just list the entire french team and be pretty set

But Evra is a leftback too.

Rooney would lead the attack of my worst team.

Agreed. Messi has been horrible too.

I'd add Gilardino and Iaquinta to the bad striker list.

Rooney and Messi make the All-Overrated team for sure. At least Messi has time to start doing something since the Argies are still alive.
(Egad, just as I'm writing this, I saw a Nike commercial on Spanish TV that featured...Ronaldinho. The same Ronaldinho who didn't even make the World Cup.)

Definitely needs more Felipe Melo in there.

I'm not sure Messi deserves to be on the worst team (he doesn't deserve to be on the best team either). he's been just OK. we should not forget that he's had at least 1 (in some cases 2 or 3) shots amazingly saved by GKs and has been double-triple marked ans constantly kicked and fouled on throughout the tournament. he's extremely unlucky to not have a goal to his name yet. even in the last game, Tevez stole his goal which says something.

I can't believe no one's mentioned Kakà. He's been a huge let down so far.

IMO Kakà was excellent against Ivory Coast. He made two assists, was present all the time.
Same for Messi. I think he will eventually score, and when it will be needed the most. Compare his attitude to Rooney and you'll see the difference.

I disagree. He has been doing good stuff in Brazil attacks, helped the team scoring goals, gave some assists also... last match he was playing well again.
