MILAN, Italy (AP) - AC Milan playmaker Kaka will undergo arthroscopic knee surgery in Brazil.

Milan says the surgery will be carried out Friday by Jose Luiz Runco, the head physician of the Brazilian soccer federation. The club says it will announce Kaka's recovery time after the operation is completed.

Newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport reported that Kaka will need about two weeks to complete his recovery, and should be fit when Milan begins training in July.
