Well, I'll start. Something about the 3rd best italian team atm.

Roma bought Vucinic, usually a solid team. If they want to do something they can't put Totti alone upfront. He's a playmaker. Not an striker. (For me, that was their problem on Supercoppa... Totti wasn't even 100%... playing only in 50 metres of the field... not attacking... inviting Inter's comeback... etc)

It'll be interesting to see Totti + Vucinic.

If they get no injuries this year (last year was really bad for them), they can do good things.

So. WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THIS YEAR'S LEAGUE?

Milan wins, lock the topic.

Just kidding. I think Roma have a very strong team, especially cause they got De Rossi and Mancini, amazing players IMO. They have two strong CB like Chivu and Mexes and a great star like Totti. When he'll get back to shape, Roma will have a very strong attack.

Then there's Inter. They definitely have a stronger team than last season's. But the fact is, Inter have always had a stronger team than the precedent season's and they always finish third, so I'm not very concerned about them.

I guess the war for title will be held between these two teams and of course, Milan.

Roma is more consistent (not getting stupid results week yes/week no) than Inter. And, playing like a team, not their individualities like Inter, can make Roma strong. I'm a little bit worried about them too.

Look at, for example, this Xmas tree:

Doni | Panucci, Mexes, Chivu, Martinez | De Rossi, Pizarro, Perrotta | Mancini, Totti | Vucinic (a Roma fan told me this line up yesterday).

With people like Aquillani and Montella benched.

All I cay say is Forza Crespo hes the man. I hope he doesn't score on us in the derbies. But They are gna be on fire this season.

I like this team they're a good solid outfit with stylish players....but they sold tonneto(this dude score a goal on us at the ferraristaduim last year). and if flachi is still there then they should do well at least maybe uefa spot.

Milan!!!
This is our year to capture the seria A and make some more history in the championsLeague. We should ao far and I think only bad luck or a misjudgment will cost us the trophy like last year.

About the league .. I think a lot of teams are aming for at least 3rd place, since Juve is out of the picture. I think everygame will be played with full potential by teams such as; Palermo, Livorno, Parma Chievo etc. ...

I know what ur thinking, that what kind of game will these guys play to even reach 3rd place !!!! And I say, it's there GOLDEN oppertunity to get the results, they know there opponents well .. And without Juve they know they have +6 points in their pockets from the start (hypothetically).

Us, Roma, Inter, Fiorentina, Lazio, and Reggina will go for our goals .. Let that be reducing the defficite, aiming for 1st place, or/and qualifying from the group stages .. But by mid-season, we will be worn out .. That's when these teams will really show their credability.

I think every country in the last WC was accused of diving, which isn't false, Italy for example have Del Piero, he falls from the smallest of touches when I saw him doing it to Inter in the Tim cup I had to laugh but when he kept constantly doing it when playing against us I got really annoyed because of all the stoppages

Anyway, back on topic, I really think that we have a good chance this year and I know everyone has been hyping up Inter because they made 3 signings but as some have already said I'm more afraid of Roma, they might be playing their chances down saying that us and Inter are better but they have a great chance this season to win it as well, because just like us they play as a TEAM not like a bunch of headless chickens running around trying to do everything on their own. Plus if Totti get's 100% fit again we better watch out.

Di Michele ,Amauri forward
They will fight for a place in CL and defenetly will make problems for the big teams

Aim: Mid-table
Prediction: A hard season spent in the bottom half

Prediction: Strong Scudetto favourites but may stutter in Europe.

Delio Rossi can be proud of his efforts after guiding the Biancocelesti to sixth place last year. However, the Calciopoli verdict has not only denied Rossi’s men UEFA Cup football but has also cost them 11 points. Without Fabio Liverani, Ousmane Dabo and Paolo Di Canio consolidation may be the name of the game.

Aim: Mid-table
Prediction: The usual inconsistency and a lower mid-table finish

Prediction: Mid-table

Prediction: To fall just short again

Prediction: Should at least clinch a UEFA spot

Prediction: To successfully settle in the top half

That ^ is not accurate. Lazio got Foggia and Milan got Bonera and Boriello... Not sure about other teams...

What if we get another season without trophies? The 3rd year in a row?

What do you think? Should we keep Carletto even if we fail on all the competitions (once again)?

This year, in case we fail to win any silverware, I think Carlo is not the one to blame ... I'm sure our summer signings do not reflect his choices/demands!!!
However next summer our defence will be even more aged. Cafu will leave (I hope), Costacurta will (probably) retire as will Paolo ... Serginho will be 36 and 'Ffanculi 35!!! We will need new blood in the squadra. It all comes down to the question: Is is better to bring in a new coach too to sum up a new era or keep Carlo within Milan cause he has the necessary experience to "bring up" the newbies???

I think he should stay to help for the new era to be built but it's probably the fear of the new era that makes me think like that!!!

I don't think Carletto should stay. He's in Milan for too long... he can't motivate the team anymore. But that's my opinion. Maybe you'll see me posting this 2339494495958 times during the season.

I don't know who could possible be the head for a new era in Milan. Well, actually I know (who could possibly be available at that time), but I'm not gonna say anything.

Now you got me curious, because I for one don't see anyone available that could replace Carlo right know. Don't forget that Carlo brought Milan back to the top and that's where he is going to keep us until he is here. And I think that he still can motivate the players, it's not about the coach, do you think that Kaka isn't motivated to win the CL and the scudetto again? or some other of the young players, we have now, I'm pretty sure they want to win a lot more. The problem is, players like Pirlo, Seedorf and Gattuso who have practically won everything. Will they still be motivated, I'm not sure, but I think that Carlo will be able to motivate them.

I'm not sure a change of coach is such a good idea, don't forget where we were in the late 90's before Carlo came. And as dst mentioned I think he will be able to nurture the new era that is surely upon us

Billy said at the beginning of last season that Carlo has not have that power anymore ... I think Billy knows what he saying. He's not at the age that would start a dispute for nothing anymore!!!

anyway ... there's only one coach I'd like to see in Milan and that's Rijkard. I just came up with this ... It's not that I like him as a coach; in fact I think Ten Caten and the team themselves made him what he is but in my mind ... Milan seem (more) secure (than with anyone else) in his hands!!! He's a Milan legend and everybody loves him here so he'll have full support plus the most important thing is that he has shown as a player that he can be a leader!!!

anyway ... we'll see ... I have high hopes that Milan will win the Scudetto back this year!!!

Rijkaard is not a good coach. Barcelona without Ronaldinho = 0, and you saw Barça losing points when he was out last season. Good coaches don't need superstars to win.
