MILAN – Empoli defender Antonio Buscè spoke before the team’s departure for Milan: ‘We are going to the San Siro to try and return with a positive result. We know that it will be a very difficult game and that we must work and concentrate for the whole 90 minutes in order to do well. We know our value and we are also aware of the fact that we will be facing great champions of extraordinary quality. We must cancel our less than brilliant performance against Treviso, even though at the end of that game we were managed to recover the result. This is an important sign that our team is alive and kicking. We really want to stay out of relegation.’
