anyone on here who doesn't like Balo or want him in Milan? I'm genuinly interested. It seems everyone loves this signing.
Good think Allegri's involved in the transfer dealings, right guys?

Balo will wear shirt #45, since #9 wasn't available due to it already being worn by another player previously (Pato).

In all honesty I don't see too much of what there is to be a fan of? I've seen him have one real good game in recent years where he took it by the scruff of the neck. All the other times he's inconsistent, petulant, can singlehandedly hurt a teams performance and a damn right nuisance in the dressing room. I could take it with Ibra as he had the talent to back it up on a consistent level. All I hear of Balotelli is 'potential' and that in all honesty just means 'he hasn't done anything yet'.
The fact that the reaction over here is people will miss him, not because of footballing ability but off the field 'antics' says it all really. Honestly, as harsh as it sounds I wished this day would never come.

You act like Balotelli was born this good and became a £24m player based on nothing. Is he a hot-head and a bit stupid off the field? Absolutely. Incredible talent though. Showed how good he is at the Euros, which juding by the English publics bashing of the English team for not doing it when it matters, surely counts for players too?

Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini admits he will miss Mario Balotelli, as will the British Press, “but he had this big chance to go back to Italy with Milan.”
Mancini was speaking to Sky Sports in England after the Rossoneri announced a deal, as Balotelli flies in tomorrow morning to complete his medical.
“Both clubs are talking about him, maybe tomorrow they can close and Mario will undergo a medical.
“We are very sorry, as we love Mario as a guy and we love Mario as a player, but he had this big chance to go back to Italy and play for another top club like Milan.
“I hope Mario can continue to improve and show his real value, because I think that if he works hard then he can become one of the best players in Europe.
“I think the journalists will miss him, as they have something to talk about with Mario every day. It’ll be a big problem for the Press.”
Mancini also revealed that the negotiations only really intensified over the last 48 hours in a deal thought to be worth €20m plus another €3m in performance-related bonuses.
“Just four days ago there was nothing. Over the last two days they started to talk and it is important for Mario to play in Italy and stay in Italy with his family.”
