Arguements for and against are retarded.

Having a penalty at 1-0 up and saying it "doesn't matter because we were winning anyway" is a stupid arguement. Both teams get their way for the most part. We've had an absurd amount of penalties over the past 24 months or so. Juve have had help too. Both are big clubs, both get help. Really as simple as that.

All big clubs get favors from refs. And I agree with what kurt outlined above.

The number of penalties really isn't the issue. Last season and the one before that we had a lot of technical players up front and played a lot more in and around the box, thus we had a large number of penalties because players did tend to foul guys like Ibra and Cassano to get the ball off them. This season on the other hand we've had what? 3 penalties in total?

Juve don't have those types of players up front either and most of the work they do is from midfield and then a quick pass to one of their strikers so penalty opportunities are reduced. And I think Juve have had more penalty calls then us this season so this supports my theory about how both teams have changed the way they play this season as opposed to last
