I personally think Romans are an ungrateful bunch of duds who like to rub shoulders with the big boys of the league (Milan, inter and Juventus), without knowing that they really are a small club. I'd wish for a draw. Roma (beside Palermo) are our bogie team. luckily the pressure is on both teams (we want Scudetto, they want CL spot), if there wasn't any pressure on them, this could get really tricky for us.

I don't care where or when we will secure the title as long as we do it ultimately.

If we lost and inter won it would still be in our favour right , i mean if we win or draw against Cagliari at home we've sealed it then anyway ?

Just looking at the table. We have the least goals against (23) of any team in Europe other than Barca (who have scored 89 and only 19 against or something ridiculous like that).

Yup, time for a Sicilian pizza, really will order one after the match. If we win that is, the spicy taste would be very much worth it after we make it to the final. And really winning the double will just be what the doctor ordered, it would sweeten our title win many a times. But for now, let's focus on the pizza:

It's in our hands now, just one point out of the 3 remaining games, that is unless Inter los or draw, then we won't need to get another point this season, but given that we play before them then we need th point to know that we've won it come Saturday. If we lose, we'd have to wait for the Inter result to know whether we'd have to wait a wekk or that we've won

I think Cassano and Ibra could be great together, and we saw glimpses of that when Cassano first came. Robinho and Ibra work so well together because of Robinho's movement that opens up space for Ibra. But in terms of linkup play, I think Cassano and Ibra are the most compatible

It looks like both Gattuso and Pato have recovered and will play from the start, though I'd play Flamini instead of Rino.

Gattuso is suspended vs Palermo. So this way Flamini will be rested for Palermo, that's a good thing. Take advantage of using both players each in one game.

I'd start with Zlatan and Robinho, taking it easy with Pato coming in as a sub. Robinho and Zlatan are a great attacking duo anyway.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned the last Scudetto we won was sealed against Roma... so I am predicting a 1-0 win with whoever is playing as trequartista to cross the ball to Pato (our current equivalent to sheva) who will head the ball home and hand us the Scudetto.
Also, I was fortunate enough to be at San Siro for Maldini's last ever home where we played Roma and the basterds beat us 3-2.
I really want this one so when I go back there to watch a game this September I will be watching the defending champions and hopefully our new breed of stars.
With all the players we have fit at the moment I think any combination of them will be able to do the job against these douche bags.

Juve are a sinking ship that cannot offer him anything better then us so I'm 90% sure he's not going there. And until then he's still a Milan player and a million times better then Ambro, so we should make use of the last few weeks of his contract Not play the terrible Ambrosini

As Chu said, either put Urby in there or as I'd prefer Pirlo, either is million times better then playing Ambro as a psuedo box-to-box player when these days he can barely run with the ball at his feet, or win a decent ball for that matter. That midfield is going to ruin this for us I can see it.

Alegri is looking for the draw, so it will be long ball after long ball to Ibra and hope we stick it out, back to the tactics of before the winter break

Playing Pirlo instead of Boateng is as awful choice (if not worse) choosing Ambrosini for that. Keeps our midfield slow. Why you need both Pirlo and Seedorf? Now Boateng is out, Furby is the most logical alternative. Problem is I want Seedorf as LCM, but also Furby. I don't like Seedorf as AM. As long as the Seedorf-Boateng combo gets replaced by the Seedorf-Furby combo, two players completing each other. One creative, other pace and movement.

Pirlo will distribute better, while Seedorf will most likely get stuck up there in the AM position. Urby will not have Allegri's favour, for some reason I don't think Allegri trusts him all that much and would never give him a chance in this one.

And anyway, puttng Pirlo in there is always better then Ambro, who had a terrible game last Sunday against a terrible Bologna, can't imagine how he'll play in this one...

I don't like to play Robinho as AM against a decent side like Roma. I wanna 4 real mids. Cassano as starter? Meh, like him more as a sub.



You can switch Furby with Seedorf, it matters they both play and it working out on the pitch...
