AC MILAN will try for Andrea Poli.
Sampdoria director Sergio Gasparin revealed that “Poli is of interest to both Milan clubs.” The midfielder is considered as one of the best Italian talents in recent years and Milan will try to sign him.
Samp aren’t in the Champions League, and despite they have no willingness to sell the youngster, they might have to, as the player wants to play in a European stage.
The player was fielded regularly by former Sampdoria coach Luigi Delneri and showed great things. Due to his skills, he has been identified as Andrea Pirlo’s successor.
Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri has picked Poli as the best U-21 midfielder at the moment, and they are expected to make an offer for the 20-year-old in the winter transfer window. Carlo Ancelotti’s Chelsea are interested too.
Is this great news or is this great news?
what do you think?

I don't really know. I haven't seen a lot of his games but if he has Pirlo's creativity and technique (I doubt he has), I wouldn't mind signing him.

Don't we already have Pirlo heir in Fossati?

Maybe... but he is still very young
But we need more than just 1 playmaker during seasons.... Fossati and Poli to follow up Pirlo and Seedorf.... not a bad idea.... double chances at least one will be awesome enough
Is Boateng also a playmaker?

I don't know.
Yes he is Fossati.
But there is no single chance he is Pirlo's heir.
Well somehow he is "connected" with Pirlo. He has a pillow with Tinkerbell (the nickname of Andrea Pirlo)
EDIT:
That girl in the pillow, is Tinkerbell , right ? I'm confused ...

It was in forum before. There were voices saying that he is gay
and I wouldn't be sure he isn't

Fossatti is probably one of the top 5 midfielders u20 in europe. We are truly lucky to have him. While Poli is a quality player and I would love to see him here, he is going to be 21 this month and fossatti will turn 18 in october.
Poli therefore will cost us a lot. At least 10m from samp unless we give them some serious incentives. He has amazing passing ability and he has the potential to be a world class player.
Fosatti has the potential to be a legend of the game imo. He has the best passing ability i've ever witnessed for someone his age when I saw him playing the u17 world cup.
I wouldn't underestimate either of them. Both are high quality but Fossatti is something else. He is miles better than anything we have in our youth system. He's 10x the player verdi is and i'd say right now verdi is 10x the player everyone else is.

Blogs are not the most reliable of sources (especially one that describes a player as having done "great things"). Therefore, I don't think we're going after this guy at all.

I'd be happy with both of them, even though they are different, both Poli and Honda will justifice letting Seedorf go. Letting Seedorf go, means a new creative midfielder needs to be brought in.

I can see us signing him. Its only a matter of time until B&G give in and agree to Fly Emirates' proposal.
Our non-eu spot is gone this term, but its possible for next summer.
