I guess Boateng will have his chance to play in this game.

I'd really like to see what he'll bring into our midfield. He's pacy, strong and powerful while having decent technique and can finish chances as well.

A 4-3-3 with him, Pirlo and Flamini in midfield could be really interesting.

Need to remember this is on.

We probably will start with Ronaldinho, Borriello and Odu. Then the backup forwards are two poachers. This is annoying, will be the whole season long like that. Anyway, T.Silva and Sokratis probably will be the central defense. Both I like very much, let's see how they play together.

Where is Verdi? is he still injured?

Based on preseason games, I like Verdi more than Odu because somehow he reminds me of Sheva. He should get stronger physically, though.

Why is our line-up shocking? The choices were either what I expected or what I wanted to see, considering who weren't called up. I think it's pretty good, though our attack with Borriello as only striker, that is kinda worrying since he can let us down with his finishing. But let's see...

Anyway, according to Sportmediaset, Allegri will be fielding Seedorf instead of Flamini. Also, Del Neri should be fielding a few back-lines as well (Del Piero, Trezeguet, Martinez etc.).

Why?

I think it's a good idea to see how they fare, this is the chance for Allegri to try things out because once the season starts there will be no room for experimenting.

I do think it's important that if we do play Seedorf and Pirlo both in midfield, Ambro/Flamini need to play in front of the defence. Not Pirlo

I really don't like playing the Seedorf, Pirlo and Ambrosini midfield. Does anyone know if Flamini isn't match fit? He is on the bench.

I think he's fit, we'll probably see him and Ambro each get a half.

We'll see how the trio do. At one point it did work, it worked like magic, but like I said in the other thread they were 5 years younger and could handle it.
