I already know Lennon beat Agbonlahor in that Nike ad. But I'm rally curious how Kaka and Pato would do. I have a feeling Pato would beat them all.

Where's Viudez? unsure.gif

If you could clarify, do we mean like in a dead heat sprint, or in an actual match situation when running up against defenders?

Either way, my vote's with Seedorf. It's not the man, but the mind that needs to be fast!
Ro Rossonera
The 'dorf? Really?!?!

i can't remember Kaka making a decent run this season!

Pato wins king.gif

Certainly Kaka for me. His speed does not show that much because of his height, he's a lightning bolt!

True. He's the Milan Speedwagon! Our pace injection. cool.gif Pato has acceleration, and lots of it, but he struggles for ball control and is of a smaller stature than Kaka. For the time being it's Kaka who's the faster of the bunch, and that's what I voted for. If we go a few years back, I think Kaka can't touch a Paolo in his peak (late 80s), when Maldini used to make those sweeping runs all the way from the back on the left flank.

I also remember hearing Ronaldo (R99) was the fastest in the team while he was here. Can't doubt that, seeing as he had more muscle mass, and would have obviously been fastest in short 100m sprints. Maybe they had pasta bowls on the finish line, but still he was fast.

In Milan? Certainly not! Surely in the past, he used to be one of the fastest player I've ever seen.

Yeah in Milan. In training actually. rolleyes.gif Those 100m sprints, I heard a couple of players (I don't know who said it, maybe it was Paolo or someone else) say that the Ronaldo was losing weight, training hard, and was pretty much faster than his teammates at that time. This was of course in the summer of 2007 - before Pato. But I agree what R99 was about as fast as they came. I was watching some of his goals from 1996, when he was at his peak, and boy did he brush back defenders like something.

Kaka, well you've got to look no farther than his solo Celtic goal in the San Siro in the CL 07. He ran half the pitch in less than 5 seconds! ohmy.gif and believe me it's easier said than done, more so when you have the ball and opposing players/goalkeeper to look out for. He isn't quiet as fast as that now, though.

Whoever said anything about Ronaldo in training only did it to silence the journalists who were talking bull about his fitness. On the field he was not fast, not with Milan.

Depends what you mean by fastest? In a straight out sprint or in terms of football speed? Agbonlahor is the quickest player in the EPL in terms of speed, but Lennon is the quickest player in the league WITH the ball. So the quickest footballer for me is Lennon, the fastest person is Agbonlahor.

Never really thought of Ronaldo or Pato as fast, they've just got quick feet. Kaka' seems to be quite quick though!

On a somewhat related note, I remember reading that Dennis Rommedahl can run a 10.0 in the 100meters or something similar, now that's fast!
Zed.D
This might help!

But as previously said, being fast doesn't necessarily make you a great footballer. it's one of many factors and Pato surely has it. he may not be the fastest on earth, but anyone who's seen his 2nd Roma goal can tell he's extraordinary in that respect.
CrazyMilanFan
where is the PUMA..... anyway i think pato is really fast faster than kaka
Rossoneri7
Seedorf ! realmad.gif realmad.gif

hehe Kaka' .. I'd say he is keeping things safe after the operation which he undertook on his knees. But overall, he is the fastest footballer currently playing in Europe. I have yet to see someone dash as fast as him with the ball at his feet.

Kaka is definitely faster than Messi. I know that much. I mean he smoked Messi even with the ball at his feet:

Surely Kaka is faster than Messi... it's clear in that video that Messi looks faster than he is faster while it's the other way around for Kaka.

It does not get faster than here... the chance where he hits the post... he's just lightning quick! And not only in that occasion, he did amazing things in that game too bad he did not convert those chances.

Surely R9 lost alot of his speed b4 coming to play 4 milan (given his increased age, injures and weight gain at the time- its understandable). Speed surely wasn't his best characteristic (if u could have even called it that, during his time with us). However, I do remember an article on acmilan.com shortly after his arrival and it listed 'supposedly reliable & realistic 'sprint times from a training session. Can't recall the order, but I am certain they listed Ronaldo in the top 2 (if not 1st) [Pato wasn't yet in our team, and I am not sure whether or not Kaka took place in the training or if he was injured or what] I believe Serghnio was in the top 3 as well.
Rivaldo
Kaka

cos Ricky and Speed - one thing))

He didn't earn his nickname "Ben Johnson" for nothing. Plus, he needs under 10,5 seconds for 100m....in football shoes!
Oh, and...even I could outrun Merte

Agbonlahor looks scarily fast.

I've never personally seen anyone quicker at Villa Park before, sometimes when the balls played over defenders have a good 0 yard start on him and he'll still get there first, it's quite ridiculous when you see it.
6Best
Walcott is also fast as hell . ohmy.gif Although , in the list , on the pitch & with the ball he ' s the fastest out there..........
