I think Borriello because, as much as it has turned out to be a good move [football-wise] so far, Genoa ripped us off on a player that once was completely ours! but why isn't he on the list..? Senderos and Sheva are on loan IINM so we didn't pay anything for them. they shouldn't be on the list.



Don't know why but I think that cookie will go to the one who says Cardacio/Viudez because they've played 0 minutes in official games so far.

Once again voted Marco. Coz on a co-ownership we paid 10 million. Are we saying he's a 20 million striker?? Definitely overpriced.

...he hasn't even hit goal scoring form yet and he's STILL a threat for us. Whenever Gila was on the field, he was almost entirely useless unless he knicked the rare goal. he couldn't ever stay on his feet, and therefore never held the ball up for us like we need our centre forward to do..

In games Marco has started we've hit 3-4 goals. The loan was necessary for him to get confidence..10 mil could be peanuts if Marco plays for us at a high level for 7 years. I see this move as cost-less as well, cuz we basically traded Gila for Bori-gol. With gila, bori would have never played..

and didn't we pay over 10 mil for Zambro? that's a bit steep. there may have been cheaper/younger alternatives to this signing..

Zambro + Borriello have shown great promise. Sheva? I don't know how much we paid for him but he seems unnecessary for our team, esp with Pato/Ronaldinho/Borriello/Inzaghi

Boriello, but basically it goes down to the stupidity of whoever comes up with these ingenious ideas to co-own the player instead of simply loaning him out. We spent 10 million on a player that just a year ago we were desperate to get rid of.

btw, Senderos and Sheva shouldn't be on the list, both came for free, and if you think about it Sheva going to Chelsea in the end helped us get a quick £30m out of the deal and in the end still ended up with the player (even though said player was ruined during those 2 seasons we still managed to get 30m out of it, so in the end I think it worked well for us)

And we also got our replacement #7 in Pato, who we may not have got had Sheva stayed.
