Milan: Abbiati; Pasini, Maldini, Favalli, Antonini; Cardacio, Emerson, Ambrosini; Seedorf; Inzaghi, Ronaldinho
I'm looking at the line-up... and I'm thinking... WHAT THE ****ITTY ****? I mean...
???Why did Abbiati play? Oh yeah Dida played at the heavily competitive Borgonovo match, I almost forgot...
Why did Maldini play? Shouldn't he rest? He can still be great but not when he plays twice a week...
Why did Pasini and Meregalli play? They are Primavera players and we have Darmian who has not stepped on the green since the time he took his dog out at the park... and Meregalli is listed as a midfielder on the official site...
Why did Favalli play? Shouldn't he be rested in case he's needed too?
Ambrosini, Seedorf? Why field our most-fielded players again!??!
That's 7 players that should not have played! Of course you can't just go out and play a random squad but all 7 of them at the same time is... too much! Antonini and Cardacio must feel so lucky and appreciated...
Geez Carlo!

For the first time ever, I can visually comprehend, in great detail, what dst is talking about when she says Seedorf slows the game down.
Love you sweetheart!

He literally lets all the opposition's defenders get back, and then he tries to make space by passing back to the defenders. He does this all the while other players are moving forward and trying to speed up the play.
That's exactly what he does! And then we complain about opposition teams defending in numbers against us... of course they are going to do that cause simply we can do nothing about it and they are not dumb not to take advantage of it! We have meaningless possession - unless one thinks passing the ball around in your own half when you're not winning or even losing can be considered positive - and that can't even be called slowing down the tempo cause the tempo in our games is at the level of a graveyard... we let them get back to their own half easily by keeping the ball too much and then we push forward... I mean... why is our attack line so close to their box? The closer we get to their area the closer they will get to their area and as a consequence, there will be less space... it's ****ing common football sense... pull the team back a little and CREATE spaces for ****s sake, football is all about creation nobody is going to gift you anything!!!
Can you remember a single goal we scored in Serie A last season that was a result of a counter-attack? I recall none... there probably were a few but they came so rarely that I can't even bring them to my mind! And we don't score in counter-attacks for obvious reasons...

I mean if it was Seedorf instead of Ronaldinho in the chance that let to R80's goal against Inter, I don't think Seedorf would have ever made that forward pass.
Nobody in our team except for Bucktoothcho can do that pass, it's a de Assis(t) Moreira trademark!
Plus Ronaldinho is the only player in our team that can open up tight defenses and he's great at it!

Tirana sounds like the name of a Russian pornstar of something..
Ahem... I suppose you did not know (not that you ought to) but Tirana is actually the capital of Albania...

Anyway... it's all gone now... and Nesta is back!!!
