Milan bought a lot of players this summer. Which one will prove to be the most important?
acid911
Great idea for a Poll. smile.gif

If you're asking short term, then there is no one better than Ronaldinho. He'll do us good for the next couple of years, the way that he's progressing. In the longer scheme of things, if he stays, Flamini will be the best of the bunch, considering he hasn't reached his peak yet. cool.gif I am not particularly a fan of French footballers, but I've got a hunch feeling Flamini is going to be a handful and bring much to the table.

i second that
Tennie
My vote goes for Flamini. I was very impressed with what I saw on Sunday. He was one motivated little Frenchman out there, never gave up, moved from midfield to defense seamlessly and did well in both positions. He's not going to score 20 goals a season, but he's going to do a lot of the dirty work that leaves the trequartistas free to do their magic.

^^ moi aussi
Darunia
My vote for Ronaldinho.. I think his presence challenges the defense and frees up space for our other attackers. His presence is going to be most visible. Flamini and Zambrotta will be huge too though.

Okay, there's the second one of your smiley! tongue.gif

flamini is younger and can easily give us a good 6-7 top years of football, our DM are aging so theirs a need. he comes for free so we only pay for his wage which gave us allotted us more funds to spend on other players. he doesnt strike as the type that will b1tch if he doesnt get tones of playing time (even though i hope he does)

R10 was an astute buy, but long term i think flamini will have a bigger impact with the team
Habitant
i think we all know who voted sheva
acid911
Really? I'd say it's a toss up between Kurt and Ash. unsure.gif Hard to tell.
vnata001
flamini. he will be the most consistent player we have for a long time..and his contributions will be world class. it's simply a hunch..dinho will be useful..but useful for 2, MAYBE 3 season..flamini will prove to be a savior for seasons to come long after dinho and sheva are done here. we have found our version of cambiasso.

Diddlysquat! sad.gif Oh, how can I forget Misha. I wouldn't be surprised if it were him. Kurt and Ash aren't far behind, though. They make up the 'Brotherhood of Shevchenko'.

i would count myself in if sheva was more useful to the club, anyways we'll see about that. i just think it's more a case of sheva benefiting from milan than sheva helping us. as far as him betraying us, well i got over that a while ago, he did so much for us in the past.
acid911
I can understand. smile.gif As for the traitor and betrayal thingy, I never believed in that stuff in the first place, anyway. The guy scored oodles of goals for us, and how can we term his mistake as betrayal. Maybe what he did was wrong, yes, I can agree with that. And he knows it to.

I just hope he can prove his usefulness to us over the season. All will be forgotten then.
Devillito
Ronaldinho all the way!!
cool.gif

A close tie between Flamini and Ronaldinho...

... Can't choose
Fillipo Simone
Ronaldino or Flamini? Hmh,..I'm not sure what best transfer means exactly. The most important transfer, and the one with the most inpact on our squad is the Ronaldinho deal. The best transfer, since it was a free signing of a potential quality player is Flamini. So, it goes undecided for me too.
han2503
Flamini. Came on a free, and is at an age were he hasn't even peaked yet.

Ronaldinho, Zambrotta, Sheva; they're all really great transfers for our short term success. Imo all will give their contribution for the next 3 years but non of them comes close to the Flamini deal.If he were still under contract Arsenal could have sold him for a ridiculous ammount considering his last season with them, not to mention his age
LaPalma
Flamini. An investment for the future. Ronaldinho might turn out to be a decent transfer as well but I'm still not convinced...
Zed.D
If I had a gun pointed to my face and I had to choose one, it'd be Flamini. for some obvious reasons (free, young, already proven, etc.)

I understand your doubts. he was (very) good against Bologna, but that's not enough. if he plays like that in the next 5 games (including the Derby) we can be sure about the great comeback. one game doesn't tell much.
CrazyMilanFan
flamini bcoz he was free

Yap. I really hope to see his old self on the pitch again, although I'm not a big fan of his way to play the game. He can give us the much needed improvement upfront. Hope he will.
Ry4n
Its very hard to say right now but from the first match its defently either Ronaldinho or Flamini , i voted for Flamini !
kurtsimonw
Flamini. Free, young, hard working, can play in many positions and had a superb season with Arsenal in 07/08. I'm not sure there will be many transfers in the whole of Serie A that turn out better than this one in my opinion.

Ahh...so the truth is, if there was no gun, you would say Cedric Seedorf. tongue.gif
vahid
Flamini. He was free, young, did well last season and recent games, etc
morgoth
Flamini without a doubt! He's young and will give a lot to the club, he'll be the Gattuso_v2 (- leadership + skills) laugh.gif

Gattuso has leadership? ohmy.gif Gee, whiz!
Jack Sparrow
He's one of the strong, silent types...

What? You don't see it? huh.gif

acid911
Of course he is. wink.gif Leadership is a little more than running around, elbowing the opposition, winning vital balls, and losing easy ones. In short, he's good, but not as good as Paolo. Not as classy too. Meaning good as second or third choice for the armband, not first.

My honest $0.02. Remember how he was leaving for Bayern after all these years here. huh.gif Just because of new competition.
Jack Sparrow
I was under the impression, he leaving, due to a lack of competition... unsure.gif One of those, disillusioned with the club's attitude.
Locke Lamora
Thing is I've always admired Zambrotta, and I think he'll be tremendous.

biggrin.gif tongue.gif biggrin.gif That's why you're a pirate! Kaka and Nesta are the only players who deserve to say this. Particularly after the performance Gattuso put in last season (bar a few matches). That's defeatism in a nutshell. Did Paolo leave in our dark period when we finished 11th?

Don't get me wrong, I'd rather have a Gattuso in my team than otherwise. cool.gif He has his uses, and lots of them. Leadership, however, is not his strongest point, even though he get along in it.

I've recently been on a mountain trip, and the bus stopped for thirty minutes in a place called Nesbyen.
A guy called Otto Skaret has made scrap statues of notable persons in Nesbyen throughout history. Imagine my shock at discovering a 3 metre tall immigrant in a dress wielding a meat hook hanging around outside the petrol station.
Jack Sparrow
He off topicked my off topic. ohmy.gif The force is strong within him.
morgoth
acid, Rino is one of the most influential player in the dressing room, he's leadership is unquestionable in my opinion! The fact that he wanted to leave because the board didn't want to invest in the club has nothing to so with it!

Okay, maybe I got the wrong impression of him! unsure.gif I still rate him as a tremendous player, though out of form.

Yes - If he can get get back to his old form, his once pitbull self, we will all love that, though he isn't getting any younger we can all hope! He was truely priceless and one of a kind for us at his best.
He didn't look bad today - maybe it can be a sign of things to come *wishful thinking* smile.gif

Yeah he was a fighter out there today... I think he was fired up and mad because of what the Cypriots did to two defenders.

In a friendly, brotherly sort of way Kurt. dry.gif dst has given me powers to gender shift, I don't have a need to be gay. Hehehe. Besides I sure hope dst is enjoying his vacations, been a long time since he's been on here. Him, and Jack, and Grin, oh my!
