There are fears in the Milan camp that Kaka may miss their crucial Champions League last 16 second leg against Arsenal due to a knee problem.
The Brazilian star has been experiencing pain from his knee for the last six months, but has been able to play through the discomfort.
Over the last few weeks, Kaka has also been suffering from tendonitis and the situation worsened in last night’s game against Palermo.
The Ballon d’Or winner took a heavy blow to the knee after a collision with Rosanero midfielder Roberto Guana in the third minute of the game and was forced to come off at half-time.
Kaka will now almost certainly miss the Serie A games against Catania and Lazio, but it is unclear whether he will be ready to face Arsenal on March 4.
After an impressive stalemate at the Emirates Stadium, Milan know that one goal could be enough to book a place in the quarter-finals, but they are looking worryingly short of firepower.
With Ronaldo out for the season and Pippo Inzaghi still lacking match fitness, Alexandre Pato will be under pressure to perform but he isn’t 100 per cent either after an ankle complaint.

Looks like a completely unfounded article based on someone's opinion rather than fact. I'm guessing that it's down to the fact that Kaka was withdrawn at HT against Palermo.
Kaka will play against Arsenal, I'm pretty certain of that (unless I've missed any statements released by the Milan staff?). Though whether he's at his best is anyone's guess.

The latest in Controcampo is that he's definitely out for Catania and may only play part of Lazio. He's supposedly having an MRI today just to make sure everything's okay.

He will play against the Gooners, even with a crippled leg

Kaka is the best player on the pitch, even without one knee

He'll be there. But there are doubts if he'll be really ready to play.

I agree with this fully... don't give in to easily to what the media would say; especially unquoted or any real sourced information.
Unless any further complications were to crop up, and Kaka gets the necessary rest to recover with out being rushed back to the pitch. I am pretty sure that he should make it back in time for the Arsenal Clash.

The fish doll wiggles fins in greeting to TriniKing! Welcome!
As for reliable news, this just popped up the ticker on acmilan.com's italian page.
MILANO - Ricky Kakà è stato sottoposto oggi a risonanza magnetica. L'esame ha dato esito negativo. Kakà ha riportato, durante Milan-Palermo, semplicemente una forte contusione.
[Ricky Kaka had an MRI today. The exam showed no injury. Kaka brought back (literally. I know it translates oddly) simply a big bruise from the Milan-Palermo game.]
Emergency averted.

Don't scare him off!
But yes, welcome TriniKing! Hope you like it here.
As for Kaka', I'd be amazed if he didn't play against Arsenal, he didn't look too bad coming off yesterday and has over a week to rest, so he should be fine. Unless he picks up an injury in training *touches wood*.

Kurt, you are a meaniehead!
And as for Kaka - and maybe Nesta this go - I suspect he'll be (figuratively) wrapped in bubblewrap until the game so nothing gets damaged. More or less the same sort of thing that's done for Il Capitano.

TriniKing, you may want to resubmit your poll in the 'transfers' section. The one in the 'players' section seems to be closed.
(And don't believe a thing Kurt says about the fish doll!)
