FLORENCE - These are the words of Adriano Galliani and Carlo Ancelotti in the post-match of Fiorentina-Milan, game which ended 1-0 in favour of the Rossoneri, thanks to the fourth goal in the league (the first one away from home) by Alexandre Pato:

ADRIANO GALLIANI

"We're very happy with this win which we dedicate to our president. We did all we could, we were good. The regret is tied to the injury of Pato who hurt himself, just like Seedorf and Kaka. We have some physical problems. In the meantime let's enjoy the win and see if we manage to recover Inzaghi and Ronaldo.

"In the standings what matters are the final points, but today it was important to win because with this win we have moved forward in the standings. If we should arrive level with Fiorentina, we would be in front thanks to the head-to-head clashes. In fact there are no play-offs anymore. Having won at Udine and Florence is fundamental. The team started to play well just like we always wanted. This is Milan. The march forward is impressive now: 15 points in 6 games are a good number. Let's continue like this.

"We have interpreted the game well. Whoever came in during the game gave a huge contribution, starting from Emerson and Pato who gave us the right accellerations which made the difference in the moment in which Fiorentina decreased its rhythmn. It's a moment in which we don't play particularly well, but with great application and attention. If there aren't these two ingredients, you don't win.

"Emergency injuries? Right now we have played a lot and we have faced important games from the physical and psychological point of view, always with the water to our throats in order to recover. Now we have a week to manage in the best way, trying to recover some players. Gilardino will not play against Siena due to suspension. Ronaldo? We shall see. He wants to play and recover.
