ok who do u guys and girls think is a milan legend at the most early has to be from 2000

i think
maldini
sheva
nesta
gattuso
kaka
gilardino tongue.gif (kidding about gila)
pipo inzaghi !!
Milan Are Brilliant
Think it's hard to say a 'legend' from just that time...

Maldini (Played For Us For At The Top Of His Game For 20+ years 'Nuff Said)
Costacurta (Pure Class)
Kaka (Won The CL For Us)
Shevchenko (The World's Best Attacker With Us)

Some of the rest...

Albertini
Rui Costa
Zvonimir Boban

Can't think of many, sure I'll agree with most other posts on this one!
dst
Maldini and Costacurta are the greatest Milan legends I believe... I mean... these guys have won with Milan 6 CL trophies and 7 scudetti... that's many more than most CLUBS in Europe have won in their entire history!

Sheva is a legend too... he left in a bad way but he is Milan's all-time second goal-scorer!

I consider whoever has left an impact in this team to be a legend!
Tennie
I'd add Van Basten and Baresi onto the list. Actually...I'd just add the entire team from 89-90. Then there's Liedholm et al from the 50s....

And while he was certainly a very good player for Milan while he was here, the way in which he left means that I would not include Andriy Shevchenko on a legends list.
Jack Sparrow
Savicevic, Boban, Weah, even Bierhoff I'd guess. Mark Hately anyone?

Oops from 2000 onwards...

Hmm...yeah the usual suspects...

The Magical Rui....the entire current squad...I know how 10ster feels about Sheva...but that's 7 years of brilliance, that we can't ignore.

I guess...After Paolo and Billy...though it would be Nesta...who's most an icon.

I don't think people are gonna consider Pirlo an icon, till the day he leaves. We just take him for granted.

Pippo of course. king.gif Rui I already said. Yeesh....this is a f@cked up endeavour. They're all legends in my book.

Tennie is a meaniehead sad.gif

Even though the way he left wasn't ideal, what matter is what he has done for the club. Sheva gave his best years to Milan and both he and the team accomplished a lot together. He still loves Milan and always have very kind words to say about the club and players. He had a big impact on the team and there were years when he carried the team by himself. Sheva was an icon and the way he left doesn't change that. 173 goals in 7 glorious years

Just from 2000 onwards?

Paolo and Costacurta above all. Sheva, Rino, Pirlo, Nesta, Kaka, Ambro, Pippo.

I'll consider him a lagend when he's played here for 10 years.. that's the minimum requirement for somebody who still carries the Inter disease. tongue.gif
Jack Sparrow
Well you got Pippo on that list...how come Juve cooties are alright.

Tassotti is now Ancelloti's assistant right?
Jack Sparrow

Yes so is Billy....

laugh.gif Billy, Baresi, Tassoti are already in the club functioning. If Paolo also joins after quitting, the 4 musketeers will be together again. I'd love for all 4 of them to be put in charge of the primavera. Time we started mining some talent. The football market is just too bloody expensive.

billy

maldini

^^^^^
OBVIOUSLY

Albertini

Ambro (he's been with us so long and has been loyal)

Boban

Inzaghi (wants to end his career here and scored some clutch goals as we all know)

sheva (despite leaving us he is the 2nd top scorer for us so that counts for something)

nesta (if he stays here another 2-3 seasons, if he retires with lazio it's understandable)

kaka (only if he doesnt pull a sheva on us or he continues to play as amazing as he has done over the past few years)

gattuso (has been dedicated to the club since day 1 although he's more of a fringe legend. his case is more debatable because not everyone will remember as much as some of the talented players that can be pin pointed by their stats.)

pirlo (if he stays for another 4-5 years, if he retires with brescia it's understandable)

thx, it's amazing how we could have 7-8 legends in the past few years but it's simply because these players have been part of some of the most successful years in milans history.

For first Milan is the Master Legend
and then i dont remember all of it's Legendary players !

king.gif
I_Rossoneri
Surprised there has been no mention of the legend that is...Luther Blissett devilsmiley.gif
Jack Sparrow
huh.gif

Well for one, he was before my time. So doesn't even come close to nuh's requirements of circa 2000 A.D

Secondly, he was a pretty huge flop. 30 games for 5 goals says his stats. He only lasted one season.

The last good player we had from the British Isles imo would be Mark Hateley.

Fillipo Simone
Well, Milan is the world's finest club, so it's only natural that there are many legends.

Franco Baresi, Gianni Rivera and Paolo Maldini infornt of everyone else.

Then there are some loyal and established players who devoted their whole (or at least the biggest part) careers to Milan like Costacurta, Albertini, Ambrosini, Tassotti, Alberigo Evani, Roberto Donadoni and Cesare Maldini

Also, Zvone Boban (whom I really admire), George Weah, Marco Simone (which is I fear never truly recognized), Ruud Gullit, Frank Rijkaard, the Gre-No-Li trio and Altafini.

Aldo Maldera and Andrij Shevchenko maybe left us in a harsh way, but they still are lengends.

So that's my "short"list,.. rolleyes.gif tongue.gif

ًHe was part of Gli Invincibli ... and surely is a legend.

BTW, didn't he finish a season as top scorer with 30 some goals ? a record that Toni broke not long ago ? Or am I mistaking him with someone else huh.gif
