Carlo Ancelotti has increased the pressure on Milan new boy Alexandre Pato by insisting that he can outshine long-term target Ronaldinho.

The 18-year-old signed from Brazilian side Internacional in the summer and will be available to make his first full appearances for the Rossoneri after January 3.

“I’d say that Alexandre is better than Ronaldinho,” Ancelotti boasted to La Gazzetta dello Sport.

The starlet made his non-competitive debut for the Diavolo in a friendly against Dynamo Kiev on September 3 and marked the occasion with a headed goal.

“He is a phenomenon and with him available we can return to playing with two strikers,” Carletto revealed.

The struggling European champions are eagerly awaiting his contribution to their Serie A campaign and sources inside the club suggest that he has shown devastating talent in training.

Despite Milan’s poor form, Ancelotti concluded by maintaining that his side are still in the title hunt.

“I still think we can win the Scudetto because it is a very strange and even championship this year,” he stressed.

I don't know why our peeps are putting the kid under such pressure, but I guess he has really impressed them in training. I am impatiently awaiting Pato's first appearance at the San Siro ..

that's not a really smart thing to say. no one knows whether he can perform on the game days or not.

I don't even believe, Carletto made this comment. They're just putting words together. Carletto is not the type to boast, for one thing. If any, he's a guy who understates.

I don't know about the authority of this one, but Carlo has already done this before when he said Pato is "the greatest striker in the world"!

I believe in Pato's future more than anyone else (!) and I've followed him carefully from the very beginning of his career with Inter, when most Milan fans either had no idea who Pato is or wouldn't really care if he joined us or not. so I give Carlo the right to be excited about having such talent in his team, but I wish he quits generalizing his feelings and thoughts about him asap, because they can negatively affect him.

U.S. compared Adu to Pele...almost ruined his career

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH UCL Final of 2005 was an incident and nothing more , this is more than clear for everybody , the main reason that everybody remember 2005 final is not the Liverpool power to comeback , it was Milan unusual reactions in second half , can anybody tell how Carletto team could SEND 3 Goals in 45 minute into the net of defensive Liverpool ( you can remember that Liverpool could reach to the final because they defend well , they send out Juventus with Ibrahimovich and his other in shape strikers ( i remeber Capello words after second match in turin very well , he said : after 70 minutes i understand that it is impossible to score laugh.gif ................................... Chelsea too laugh.gif ) ? and you must remember that in this match , for some reasons Liverpool fans were much more than of us . YES you cant see 2 UCL CUP in our pocket biggrin.gif

I don't know what u guys are on about .. But if that game was played 20 times again, Milan would win 19 of them !! loosing only that one!

I mean, Shevchenko's chance in the second half, where it hit that lucky Polish piece of sh1t .. He simply wouldn't miss again.
