MILAN - Today's match at Glasgow is the number 200 for Milan in the history of the Champions Cup/Champions League: the first one occured on the 1st of November 1955 at San Siro against the German side Saarbrucken. Celtic-Milan could be Kaka's 50th game in the Champions League: the first one occurred on the 16th of September 2003, always at San Siro, against Ajax.

Dont get it. Seems that Kaka' has played in 1/4 of all Milan matches in history of CH.L.

How come Milan played ONLY 200 matches?

Back when the competition was still called European Cup, there was no group stage and only the champions of the occasional country could enter thus the games were many less...

God has played 120+ games in this competition!
