Henry, Tevez, Torres, Suazo, Toni...
All of these strikers were linked to Milan, and non of the ended up here.
Right now in my mind I can't see any top striker which can come and really improve us.
However, I've got some ideas but non of them really convince me, or seems possible to come:
Pato? The only one that looks possible.
Robinho? He ain't leaving though...
Drogba? Not the type we need, and impossible to get
Eto'o? I just had to mention his name coz he seems untransferable
Dinho? Well, if we're looking for a real striker than he's not one of them, and is untransferable.
Any other idea? Or maybe we wont sign anyone and we'll stick to our squad.
Like Galliani said: We won CH.L without R99, and next season we'll have him.
I'd just reply to him: Look at Premiership Champions signing 4 great players, look at CH.L. finalists signing top players every day, look at Primera Division champions strenghning their defence with 2 top CB's etc...etc...

That's sad... some may come out and say 'the transfer window is open until August 31, no need to panic'. but they don't dare to admit we won't have any top option to buy till then.

I won't believe it until it is officially announced. even an official announcement will not do! because he had one of these announcement for Suazo and now he's an Inter player! I only believe we got Pato when I see him posing with a Milan shirt along with Baldy.

I'm going to be the first to come and say 'It's only July 13, we've got plenty of time' because we DO have time. There are options available and Milan has a history of completing transfers late in the window anyway: Oddo came late in the January window, remember? And Alessandro Nesta, who's one of the best of Milan's recent signings, came on the very last day of the summer transfer window. So...I see no reason to worry.

Really?!
And what do you think about not having many decent options left to buy?!...

I think our options are quite limited now on established players.
For instance:
Liverpool - torres, babel, benayoun, leiva
Barcelona - henry, toure, abidal, milito
Real - saviola, pepe, metzelder
Bayern - ribery, toni, klose, ze roberto
Maybe some of these additions are not necessary, but it gives the team plenty of depth and options for the long season. We on the other hand have an even longer season, and would anyone here put money on us making 4 proper additions to the squad. I just think were kidding ourselves if we think we can be competitive for the whole season without making substancial additions. Couple of injuries and were in massive trouble.
Besides dinho, pato, eto'o and zambrotta, what are the other options that we have..

I think there ARE decent options left to buy: the two Barca possibilities, for example. Pato - whose agent is now in Italy by the way - is another option.
Just because Real goes out and buys like mad on the transfer market doesn't mean Milan has to, guys. I honestly don't see why people are worried. Yes, last summer's market sucked, but last summer was atypical. Don't expect more than a couple of signings, though. I'd be surprised if there were more than two. (For what it's worth, at the moment I think those buys will be Pato and Ronaldinho.)

Those teams were messed up and needed reinforcements quickly, us on the other hand can afford to wait a bit

I disagree that we can afford to wait, BUT the season is nowhere near starting, pre-season is not even here yet.
I'm personally not confident we'll make a good improvement to our team, but while there's still time do so, I'll have to keep faith.

We need strikers? Didn't know that...
We need a foward. A second-striker (SS), not a pure-striker.
Just calm the f*ck down. Still 50 days or so to the market close.

Heh heh...it seems obvious...we're not get any transfers till jul31...the new transfer is gonna pose with the new jersey...not before.
Ronal and Dinho

yeah well, he's as expensive as two good players. Actually if you really think about it...we could get by till winter with just a SS. Maybe afterwards we can take harder look, see if we truly need an Emerson or someone similar. Or if we really do need a back up in defence. Something tells me our strategy is being planned over both windows. Not to forget the extra cash we could have to spend if we do win the two other championships we're in. Super Cup and Club Champs.
Actually Milan as an enterprise is in the black...and I think it's stupid to risk that status.

Anelka i dont really care about, as he isnt the type of player we need. Toni, i understand we Silvio blocked it as we would have had Inzaghi, Gila and then him, through experience we have learned that these types of players cant really combine, what they need is a Ronaldo type of player who can assist them

Well to be honest with you. All those teams you are talking about, the premiership champions and CL finalists .. When you compare the 'quality' of the their team to the quality in Milan. Well, there is no compoarison ..
I mean, come on .. Don't take these players for granted. They went through the toughest season which started 12 months ago. They proved to be grit players who had guts !
Am I of the opinion that this team alone will do for no more than two target next season ? Yes.
Should we sign players? YES ! cuz we need to strengthen the bench as well as the attack.
So as you can see, we have the worlds best midfield: Kaka', Pirlo, Seedorf, Gattuso - They truely are unique players who are the best in the world in their respective positions
Defense: Nesta - Maldini

and an array of subs in Kakha, Simic, Bonera, and Favalli
Attack: Ronaldo, Inzaghi, Gilardino .. I mean just the prospect of a Ronaldo-Inzaghi combo would be a nightmare for any defense (except, Nesta-Maldini

biased aren't I

).
Are there any players left for us to sign ? I really think that players would jump at the chance to play at Milan. Milan are European Champions after all, plus, they will be playing a HUGE campaign next year
Anyways .. I'm not so worried, cuz I am convinced Milan will reinforce itself, as a great team would

1.Pippo won us the CH.L but dont wait for him to keep on the good form next season. He's old and for a striker to play in Milan while being 34yo its very difficult. I just hope Ronaldo-Gila will be an attacking nightmare for opposition.
2.Henry, Suazo, Abidal all rejected Milan. Its not that everyone wants to come. TBH I dont know the reason.
3.I'm convinced about reinforcements too. But, I just feel that they'd be an avg players.
P.S. In Milan Channel last night they were talking about Pato, they were playing some clips of him scoring goals, and because I didn't understand a single word from them, for one moment I dreamt/thought that we signed him, before I came to computer and realise that it's just a wish of me

For all of us who dream about Dinho.
Berlusconi: "Ronaldinho Won't Be Joining Milan"
Silvio Berlusconi yesterday confirmed what most had already guessed. Despite the sound and the fury linking Ronnie with a switch to Milan, the president will not be getting his chequebook out to effect the move...
Rumours continued to abound in Italy over Silvio Berlusconi's scheme to single-handedly bring Ronaldinho to the San Siro, long after the rest of the Milan establishment had declared the chase over.
However, yesterday Berlusconi insisted that he was completely unable to land the Brazilian superstar, despite being a self-confessed admirer of the player.
The controversial Italian puffed, "Everyone wants me to sign him, but how can I? The President of Barcelona says that he cannot sell him; if he did, he'd have to emigrate."
In what seemed to be the final, definitive statement, he said, "Ronaldinho will not play in Milan next year."
Next year? This could potentially leave the door open for a future approach but, for now, Berlusconi's answer seems final.
Ronaldinho had been heavily linked to Milan since Berlusconi's declaration of admiration for the player last July. Since then, all manner of potential bids have been reported, and there were even rumours of a secret meeting between Ronaldinho and a Milanese delegation back in April.
For now, however, Ronaldinho remains with the all-star Barcelona attack.
