According to Corriere dello Sport, Ivorian forward Didier Drogba is among AC Milan’s next targets in the transfer market.
AC Milan have openly declared that they will try to net Barcelona’s Samuel Eto’o first and foremost.
However, Chelsea have also joined the race to net the Cameroonian striker, as Blues coach Mourinho has strongly demanded that the club sign him if he is made available, even if he is the only paid transfer of the summer.
Eto’o is seemingly more keen on a move to the Premiership than Serie A, and Milan also know they will struggle to meet his wage demands.
With Thierry Henry already on their books, Barcelona will supposedly open the door for Eto'o if an offer worth over 50 million euros comes in.
Should Chelsea - who are the only club likely to meet that price - net him, Milan will pounce for Drogba, who has already showed a willingness to move.
The Rossoneri's chase of the Ivorian, however, is not conditional to Chelsea's capture of Eto'o. They are anyway after Andriy Shevchenko, and would not mind if they land Drogba instead.
