May 24, 2007 AN ITALIAN man has been jailed for six months for attempting to steal a satellite dish in order to watch today's Champions League between AC Milan and Liverpool.
The Gazzetta dello Sport website said the 46 year old had tried to take the dish from a campsite because the Italian Alps near his home in Lecco stopped his television from picking up a terrestrial signal.
The man, who was also fined €400 ($658), made too much noise and alerted the owner of the campsite's restaurant, who called police.
"I tried to take the dish because I wanted to see the Champions League final," the man told a judge.

yeah read this today at an austrian site, and I was wondering, if there were heavy riots, why they wrote an article about this, rather than about the riots...
