While checking something on acmilan.com I just clicked on Milan Team and what I thought was that we were missing the creativity, and the super-sub that we used to have.

Maybe most of you would say that you miss Sheva because we had kind of problems with scoring this season, or maybe Stam coz we had problems and injuries in defence (although we have one of the best defences in Europe, according to how many goals we have conceded), I still think that the one that we are missing the most is Rui.

He had creativity, vision, experience, technique, quality... he was great. Moreover, he could play mostly everywhere in midfield. He was always there when Kaka, Seedorf or Pirlo were missing, and the only one that he couldn't replace was Gattuso.

Now, Gourcuff can be his replacment in a way, but he will need some years till he can be like Rui.
So, I think that Rui is the one that we are missing the most, and the one that would improve Milan's performances this season.

If I had to pick 1. Sheva, hands down.

He would score us plenty of goals, and first and foremost, that helps the defense out alot. Rui wouldn't find a place in the team anymore, and Stam is really getting old so I'd certainly prefer Bonera.

really i would say sheva the most then stam and rui out of this question cuz rui never really plays so whty would we miss really and stam we have boner just like wht kurtsimonw said i would much rather have bonera who can play sooo many games with out getting too tiered cuz he is not as old as stam

Stam. We miss a strong and tall guy in our defence.

Just compare our defence (physically) to Inter (Materazzi/Maicon/Samuel), ManUtd (Vidic/Rio), Lyon (Cris/Caçapa), Bayern (Van Buyten/Lucio)... we just have Nesta.

Milan shouldn't have been able to sell us Laursen, he's damaged goods.

sheva is obviously the guy i miss the most because oh his goals and the lack of goals this season but stam was pretty important to our def. on a sentimental level i'd say rui cuz he was such a classy player...

If Rui had been there, we wouldn't have felt the strain of Pirlo's outer space sojourn.

Also a lot of us wouldn't be tearing our hair out worrying about Yoann not playing, coz Carletto would have played Rui even with one DMF, Rui was beyond suspicion in Carlo's book.

Believe it or not I think it's Rui Costa.

Yes he wasn't a starter, but if we had tried to convince him to stay for another season, especially after knowing full well that Sheva was going then I think we wouldn't have had the problems we where having for the large part of the season.

We've been trying to use the xams tree formation for the entire season, but it hasn't worked, and that's mainly because we don't have a playmaker like Rui next to Kaka.

I think we played our best football with Rui, Kaka and Sheva upfront in 03/04. And I believe that if we had convinced him to stay on for 1 more season and assured him of playing time I think he would have helped us a lot. No one can give a through pass like Rui, and our poachers would have befitted more because of that.

Don't get me wrong I do miss Sheva, but I think Rui has also been soarly missed, even though he wasn't a starter for us these past 2 seasons

We had Bobans superb creativity in the Milan shirt, only to be replicated by Rui. I see what you mean about missing him.

Seedorf certainly shouldn't be wearing that #10 shirt.

We've lacked a poaching goal-scoring attacker all season so definitely Shevchenko

I personally miss Rui's classy-ness xD

But we definitely need the old sheva
