Which Forward would you guys pick i already know mine devil.gif
LaPalma
Klose...
Rossi still has a lot to proof for me.
Torres...I don't know, he's great but not reliable enough.
Tevez plays like crap with West Ham.
Pazzini...what did he do? Scoring 3 goals or so for Fiorentina? Gila is by far better than him.
Rooney....well I really don't like him, he has talent though, but he'll be much to expensive for his skills.
Walcott didn't impress me with Arsenal so far. He had a really bad season with Arsenal. He's only 18, so it'll be at least 10 yearsd till we realistically sign him...

So...Klose. But still, Silvio doesn't want any of these. He'll go for R10.
dst
I picked Rossi. He's talented and a Milan fan. Torres is amazing but too selfish. Tevez is a risk, he's failed in England and he might fail here too. Pazzini?? Who? Rooney is nasty and... Theo Walcott is not a forward. At least not of the type we need.

I want Eto'o but not the man himself. I want to pull his skills out of him and put it in someone else. I like Klose but he's not... enough! Next season we're gonna have a big problem... unless we get R20!?? unsure.gif rolleyes.gif
Portman
Where's Ronaldinho? rolleyes.gif

From that list... Carlitos without a shadow of a doubt.

No that you mention Eto'o. I would prefer Henry to Klose. henry is the best striker in the world. Amazing speed, amazing technical skills, instinct for chances, creative etc....
Still a dream though. Rossi is by far not enough I'm afraid. he failed to make an impact with ManU and besides his first game for Parma he didn't impress me this season either...sorry guys.

Henry will be 31 years old next season.

I voted for Rossi. I don't want another oldie to come in for Pippo. I'd rather we have a bloke who's played long enough for Milan to step into Pippo's shoes. But thing about blokes who come in from England....they all think they're first team material.
Milan Are Brilliant
Torres.

I swear we have 4,290 other topics on this tongue.gif
sansiro1708
ok ...you guys TORRES is NEVER coming beleive me unsure.gif

G.Rossi sounds like a good buy specialy when pippo retires

and TEVEZ will for sure be awsome in Italia soooo.....

id go for tevez the problem is that hes from argentina and to be honest he would be pretty scared to go to AC milan cause our team is crowded with brazilians and he left Corintians specially for that reason. does he have a european passport?.

IDK its either G.ROSSI or TEVEZ

I would also recomend you put ALEXANDRE PATO in that poll!!!!! devilsmiley.gif
HES defitnely MY OPTION believe me you guys let the other clubs fight for other strikers if u want the next BEST PLAYER of the world GET PATO!!!
I would get one of these because of theyre talent
IMO
1-PATO...worth every million I swear king.gif devil.gif
2-G.Rossi...young ITALIAN talent that will grow up to be one italys best
3-Tevez...U guys this guy is pure talent just imagine an argentinian player #10/captain, top goal scorer in a top flight brazilian team...

1) Huntelaar

whats with everyone hating pazzini? it's pretty hard to get a starting place when you have toni and mutu ahead of you, and mutu has a specific role and plays deeper so thats something that pazzini doesnt do. i mean cut the guy some slack, he's 22 and the vast majority of his app. come from off the bench. Anyways i picked torres simply because he is currently the best striker on that list and best suited for us and most likely to make an imediate impact, but it wouldnt hurt to get someone in addition like pazzini or rossi.
IoRDanCHo
Someone mentioned Berbatov! R U kiddin' me? That piece of **** can't play, he is like Inzaghi, just waiting for the ball to hit his foot and than hoping to score! I am a Bulgarian an in the national team of Bulgaria he plays nothing! I sait that until Berbatov is our striker ans Stoichkov (The whore of Catalunia) our trainer i will not support my country in any competition!!!
Jack Sparrow
Gulp....now there goes one very bitter person.

Personally, I've often found Berbatov to be quite often the best player on the pitch for Tottenham.

Btw I take resentment to your implying Inzaghi can't play.

Berbatov is a finishing striker right, so as such his job is to wait for the ball to hit his foot, and then score. As for the Bulgaria thing, on that basis, you would be forgiven for thinking Henry or R10 is a piece of shite too. Maybe the club competition takes too much out of them.

But as for Berbatov, while he's not useless, I don't think he's great either.

Finally someone see it my way biggrin.gif You guys say this one and that one is good but you are forgetting one major detail Milan is an Italian team and personally i would like to bring up the next ITALIAN talent
Captain Ambro
I voted for Guiseppe Rossi. Torres has not proved himself in Italy and he's not even that remarkable in Spain now either, so I'll pass. Pazzini is not even an option if you ask me. In that case, we could go for Sergio Pellisier instead... huh.gif
Tevez hasn't been good and is not even a regular in West Ham...
Rooney is a good player and would be considerable, however I doubt he would be too succesful in Italy. Walcott is a midfielder.
So, basically I would go for Rossi.

Huntelaar would be a good choice, especially if Gila or Pippo decided to leave. I haven't seen Huntelaar that much, but his goalscoring record is very good.
Sobis has been crap every time I've seen him, I reckon he's not even as good as Oliveira.
Berbatov? He's simply not Milan quality. There's a dozen of attackers in England just as good, or better, than him.

If I could pick any attacker in the world though, I would choose Ibrahimovic. I cannot believe Berlusconi ditched him for Oliveira... ohmy.gif sad.gif We were soo close!

Why oh why did you say this, we'll never here the end of it from Porto.

And I personally (like many other here) wouldn't want him anywhere near Milan, sure he's talented but puke.gif puke.gif
redbabies
Only Rooney is a world-class player from them who can play for Milan but he'll never play and Milan will never even try to get him.

Torres is great, I admire him but he would get lost in Italy.

Rossi is too young and still didn't show his class like Rooney did.

And, the other three
Pazzini - NO
Walcott - still too young. He would play 5 minutes maybe in Coppa Italia (its Milans policy BTW)
Tevez - hmmm we need to make sure he wont get lost. I dont have a clear idea of what do I think about him
redbabies
the one I would get?

First choice: ETO'O
I dont need words to explain him - he is the best striker in the world.

Second choice: ADRIANO
He is finding his best form, and could only improve in Milan. Too hard to get him, considering that he plays for Inter and is so close with Moratti.
But I still hope it can happen considering the latest problems he had with the management edhe the coach. Moreover, we would find all brazil in Milan king.gif

someone hate them, someone (like me) like them. But both of them would fit perfeclty in Milan and would score goals - I mean a LOT of goals.

sorry about suggestin Berbatov.. haven't seen him play for Bulgaria.. don't know he sucks big time..

as for Sobis, he's got talent just at the wrong place n wrong time..

Tevez is good but at west ham, he didn't play like he played for argentina.. in fm, i asked leonardo for a report card of him and leonardo said his pace n agility is his advantage but he's weekness is aerial ball.. but i've seen him scored a beautiful goal from a cross, a flying kick straight into goal..

somebody told me that Palacio is a good player.. is he really talented?

what about Anelka? or Podolski?

I personnaly would go for David Villa, a great player IMO. He really impressed me in the CL tie against Inter. From what I've seen he's physically also much stronger than Torres, so go Villa!

Edit: Oh and about Podolski. He's as I often said a big talent (best youth player of the WC cool.gif ) but he slowly regains his form. Last week he played his first good match for Bayern IMO. Hope he doesn't end up like Deisler... sad.gif

He's one of the greatest forwards in the world...and he's exactly the type of player Milan need. Sure, he's got some attitude problems, however I think he's cooled down a bit. For example, he was perhaps the one who acted most gracious in the fight with the Valencia-players...

Maybe it's because he wasn't the one punched.... rolleyes.gif

And Ibra definately is not the best forward out there, sure he has been very good for Inter this season but he's definately not up there with the Eto'o s and Henrys of this world.

And who is to say that he would be playing as great as he is for Inter if he had come to Milan
arivanjj
what about SUAZO!!??
dst
I wouldn't say Ibra was so gracious in the game against Valencia. Maybe he wasn't involved in the brawl at the end of the game but during the match he and Materazzi were playing rugby rather than football.

Han, I think you're wrong about him. I always criticized his attitude but I think he really IS something special. Eto'o is one of the best players (not just forwards) when it comes to off-the-ball presence and tactical movement and Henry might be the best finisher out there but I think when Ibra has the ball he's the most feared of all. It's not just his great technique and speed. What is feared the most is that he's completely unpredictable, something Eto'o and Henry do not have!

On the other hand the above description applies to the non-big-match-Ibra! He has always failed to deliver in important games, especially in the CL. He hasn't delivered neither with Ajax nor with Giuve, nor with Inter last week. We have only experienced his full potential against weaker opponents and in Euro 2004.

I haven't watched Suazo that much in order to post a full opinion about him but from what I've seen he seems like he is something good. His lightning speed is what hits the eye mostly!! His goal against Sampdoria last night... it was just speed, a goal out of nothing that started from an awful pass in the opposite direction to his movement. ohmy.gif He reminded me of Weah!
han2503
^^^^

So basically what you're saying is that he is a Rooney or a talented Gilardino. Because in my eyes that's what he is. We don't need that Milan need guys who can deliver on the big stage and as you sad apart from EURO 04 Zlatan has never delivered when it comes to the big stage and this coupled with his rotten attitude is enough for me to still want the non scoring Oliveira over him.

And yeah, Suazo is sort of like a version of Weah maybe he has less technical ability but his pace, strength and finishing definately remind me a lot of Weah.

Maybe instead of R10 we should try to get him in the summer, he much more cheaper, is an actual striker and he has lightning fast pace that we seriously lack
dst
You really compare Zlatan to Gilardino... Cause if that's what you just did I'm going to jump off the balcony right now!

Sad but true, Zlatan is 10x better than Gila

I don't know if I can agree with you on that. When you speak about Ibra you must remind yourself that he's not an actual striker. He is no typical finisher, he has never been, so for him to score the winner and be decisive in that way has never been his trademark. Still, he has scored some good ones. As you said, Euro 2004 and also some in the Juve-shirt. Plus, he has scored in both games against Milan this season... sad.gif

I can't believe I'm defending an Inter-player, but he's also swedish so I guess I'm quite in the middle of things here. rolleyes.gif
dst
He scored against us but our defence sucks.

And this "he's not an actual striker" bullsh!t (no offence to you) only appeared after he failed to be the scorer he was hyped up to be. There was never a question of his position when he played at Ajax but his impotence in scoring a lot of goals created this whole uncertainty.

Note when I said that he is basically a TALENTED Gilardino. isn't that what we crucify Gila for, because he can't seem to score when it matters?

So basically yes, I am comparing him to Gila, only he can do fancy tricks and score the wonder goal against the minnows and Gila can do the basic tap-ins against them, different style, same result.

And as you said, the excuse of him not being a striker is pure Bullsh!t. When he was at Ajax in the dutch league no one ever questioned it, but when he couldn't score the ammount of goals everyone expected him to score. You think Juve and Inter would pay 20 mil for him just so he could make assists? rolleyes.gif Yeah right! Get real!!

Ibra does whatever Gila does 10 times better plus value-added extra stuff!

You can only compare the two the way Materazzi compared himself with Kaka...

Look at Ibra's stats, when has he scored in big games, you said this yourself, now Ibra might make that dazzling goal and trick but you've got to look against who that is. Saying that he scored on us is irrelevent imo since both times we gifted him the goal on a platter rolleyes.gif

Gila will do the tap in while Ibra will do the wonder, but in the end it's the same result as in it's not on the big stage.

I never compared them talent wise! Because that would be stupid
Rossoneri7
@han .... When did Gila do the tap in last ?! unsure.gif I seriouslly cant remember !!!!

And I am not saying this to stir anything, but his time with Milan is deffinatelly coming to an end if he doesnt pick up his game in the CL.

He did one just last week tongue.gif

Fact is Ibra chokes when it comes to the big stage, just like in the WC and in the CL, both ith Juve and Inter.

And as everybody said, Ibra is able to create the chances for himself and score them but when it comes to the important game he disappeares, this can be said to guys like C.Ronaldo, Rooney, even Henry, when it comes to a big final he disappeares.

Gila might miss the tap in also when it comes to the CL, so in the end it's still the same result, only Zlatan will make his miss look more beutiful rolleyes.gif

No, but you flipped the topic by changing it to the whole 'either Gila scores or he must go' argument again, when it wasn't about that wink.gif

My point is, Zlatan might have his fancy footwork and will score amazing goals, but you must also see who he scores those goals against. And this is where I compared him to Gila (again NOT IN TALENT WISE) everyone slates Gila because last season he managed 'only' 19 goals for us but non of them where against the big teams, now look at Zlatan's seasons with both Juve and Inter and compare.

Again, never compared them talent wise, but in the end wether the goal is scored in Maradonaesc fashion or a tapi in against Siena it's still the same result wink.gif
Rossoneri7
But in Zlatan's case .. He scores consistently for the merda, while our little boy scores once in a blue moon.

Zlatan makes assists, while our little boy is still figuring out what to do with the ball when Kaka passes it to him.

I am not comparing .. Zlatan is deffinatelly a better forward that Gila is hands down. But I would always take Gilardino ahead of Zlatan, simply because I dispise Zlatan (for obvious reasons, apart from pulling porto's leg) ..

And about me changing the subject .. If he is gonna remain this way consider him out of Milan .. Cuz there is no room for complacency. I'm just fed, up that is why .. Plz dont blame me .. I know ur view and u know mine; I just need to blow off some steam when I state my mind and Gila at Milan isnt the Gila at Parma, that is deffinatelly obvious.

His best Serie A tally was 16 with Juve, Gila did better last season, so we'll se at the end of the season if they match up. Again not comparing, but Zlatan has had his share of abbismal season's of his own, last season's terrible one is a great example.
I only compared Gila's tally for last season because that was his first season with us and this is Zlatan's first with Inter

Exactly, I know your oppinion on this matter and you know mine, so there is no need to argue about it because we both know we could keep going on about for decades.

But to agree with you on one thing, yes, Gila that is playing for Milan at the moment is not the Gila that was playing for Parma, there is no doubts about tat and for me to deny it then I would myself permit you to strangle me

Naaah...we like you too much to have you killed han. I would like to reiterate my hope that we go for Pato. He's the most mobile among the ones I've seen.

Suazo is also cool, but then again, I dunno, I just like Pato, maybe coz he's got more to his game than just pace. So we can look at solid contributions even when he is past 30.
