Full Version: MASSIMO ODDO: AC MILAN OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT
A.C. Milan have purchased Massimo Oddo from S.S. Lazio and he has signed a contract until June 30, 2011. At the same time, Milan have transferred the total ownership of Pasquale Foggia to Lazio.

Grimi, Storari and Oddo so far. And it seems Ronaldo is quite a done deal. Great, I couldn't ask more. But if they would have been a little smarter and spent all these money last summer now we would be racing with Inter for the scudetto. Well, better late than never I'd say.

IIRC didn't Galliani state that no new signings were necessary as we had squad strong enough to compete for Serie A, CL and Coppa?

MASSIMO ODDO
‘I chose number 44. I would have liked number 30, but it is already taken, so… It’s not a big deal, though. I am very happy to be here. I’ve been dreaming of playing for AC Milan since I was just a kid. I have achieved one of my dreams, thanks to hard work, talent and a little luck.’
‘Milan’s players have all the talent in the world to overcome this tough moment. I think we can still clinch the 4th place in the standings so that we qualify for the next Champions League.’
‘Lazio and Milan are both great teams. I know that Milan requested me, even in the past. But now I’m here. Despite a flight delay, I am very happy that now I am player of this team. I gave my best for Lazio. I never played halfheartedly. We parted ways very amicably. Even though I did not play in the Lazio-Milan match last Sunday, I still care about my former teammates and coach. I am looking forward to talking to President Silvio Berlusconi very soon.’

‘Massimo will join Cafu to strengthen a very good line-up. We like having talented players. Even if it looks like we have two great players in each position of the line-up. And we wanted to add Oddo to our team. It has been a very long negotiation, but we reached an agreement in the end.’
‘We almost signed Mesto, because we felt that it could have been a good backup plan in case Oddo’s deal could not be completed. President Berlusconi put that extra dime to allow us to sign and have Massimo today. I do believe that now we are one of the best teams in Europe.’
‘We are the only club that signed players in January. We got Grimi right away, and then we had to sign Storari, due to Kalac’s injury. And now, Oddo. I think we are all set. Even though there’s a great deal of talking about Ronaldo. But this is not the issue here. We are still in talks with Real Madrid. We’ll see what happens.’
