Carlo Ancelotti is looking at his future after Milan and puts Spain - where he could replace Fabio Capello - firmly ahead of the Premiership.

“I like Spanish football more than English,” explained the tactician who has won the Scudetto, Champions League, Coppa Italia and European Super Cup.

“If I really have to imagine myself in a place other than Milan, then I think of La Liga before the Premiership.”

These statements do not come as much of a surprise, as Ancelotti has already been repeatedly linked with Real Madrid and Valencia.

He is one of the favourite options to replace another Italian ex-pat, as Capello is struggling badly at the Bernabeu following three defeats in his last four Liga games.

According to newspaper ‘Tuttosport,’ the move would also be a method of buttering up their real target from Milan – Kaka.

Real Madrid were reported to FIFA after what the Rossoneri claimed was an illegal approach towards the Brazilian this summer, but that hasn’t stopped them from giving interviews reiterating their intention of poaching the player.

Valencia are another option for Ancelotti, where he’d follow in the footsteps of another Italian Coach, Claudio Ranieri.

I have a hunch he won't succeed in Spain (if he ever go there).
KillerMax
Ancelotti will kick *** in Spain! That is if he ever goes there. Ancelotti forever! devilsmiley.gif

Yeah I'm sure Racing would love him.
Jack Sparrow
Of course they would. Just like they would love it if we offered Rino, Pirlo, Gila etc.

Lol ... Why ? Capello isn't living up to expectations rolleyes.gif

Ancellotti would definately know how to use all the talent they have rolleyes.gif

Fact is Carlo is one of the top 5 coaches around, and we should be happy we've got him, our record is second to non in all competitions since he's been with us.

And if he leaves I for one wouldn't be happy unless he is replaced by someone like Mourinho

Carlo has done a lot for Milan. For one, he got us back into contention in both CL and Serie A.

I doubt Mourinho would succeed in Milan, as he would be killed if he attempts to show any of his 'attitude problems' w/ others wink.gif No one does that in Italy, there is a reason for that tongue.gif

Mourinho will have a hard time if he comes here. Imagine him asking for Henry and the club giving him Aubameyang.

Mourinho: I want Henry, he's the only one who can solve our problems in attack.
Galliani: Err... unsure.gif
Mourinho: What?
Galliani: Is... is he a free agent?
Mourinho: I don't think so, why?
Galliani: Look Jose, I know someone else who can fill the space in our attack just like Henry. He's from our Primavera team and a huge talent. His name is Aubameyang.
Mourinho: Auba-que?

I think we need a coach that is more head strong like Mourinho. I the past the fact that Carlo wasn't as pushy didn't matter because the board did their job and actually brought in quality players every season. But considering how they are acting right now I think it would be interesting going head to head with Mourinho.

I for one would either want him or Rijkaard if Carlo leaves

If you consider the way we got second both times these last 2 season. Then you would agree that us not winning the scedotto was out of Carlo's hands rolleyes.gif

And besides even if we had won them they would have been stripped away so it doesn't really matter now

And Milan appointed a loser for their coach rolleyes.gif

No, I think that, cuz of the past two season's Juve basically shoved us out of the serie a.

Exactly, in 04/05 the diciding match in the San Siro against Juve was just disguting to watch. It was so clear how cheated we where that night.

Then last season when Juve kept drawing in the last 4 minutes of injury time with questionable goals or questionbly rewarded penalties

As I always said, all you have to do is looking at Juve's games to figure out who is the biggest cheater in all Serie A history!

Yeah I know, but that was during his time at Juve, at Milan he has been nothing but success, the disappointments we have encountered where either because of match fixing Juve or ion Istanbul, where I repeat we where royally screwed.

btw pKillerMax, when you read this, I haven't forgot about the final match against Liverfool, I'm looking for a torrent that is good at the moment cause I've been a bit busy lately

From what I've seen and what I've read Carlo Ancelotti was no loser when he was a footballer... and from my experience you can't become one even if you want to. I think he has a lot of faults but this is not one he deserves...
Bluesummers
Question... Do you need football experience, i mean play pro, before you can become a coach or even a manager for big clubs. Milan, bayern, arsenal etc..
Jack Sparrow
Well it's not really all that difficult to be a coach nowadays. As in I mean experience. But most of the clubs nowadays hire people who have been managing for quite some time and most of these blokes were players.

Of course it's interesting to note that except for Carletto, Rijkaard and MVB, none of the currently succesful coaches were much good as players.

Edit:

This is an interesting link

No. Mourinho's never played football for example.
